Infinite line from 8 imports!

edited January 2014 in Tips & Tricks
This is how I've been working with my Poke Pups. Basically you keep a male and female from each import pair and breed them with the second import pairs offspring. This picture might help a little bit!
<img src="http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af315/Celia_1234321/e5e249f461d474f2334a5f7a1c91f253.jpg"; alt="http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af315/Celia_1234321/e5e249f461d474f2334a5f7a1c91f253.jpg"; class="bb-image" />
<a href="http://i1019.photobucket.com/albums/af315/Celia_1234321/e5e249f461d474f2334a5f7a1c91f253.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">same picture

 • So.. this is the infinite line that some people are using with only 4 doggiwoggies? Sweettt. As much as I love my 3-dog Inbred system, at least this isn't AS inbred as that.. or maybe it is. I don't really know.. Anyway, thanks Celia! x

 • I don't know if it's really less inbred, if so not by much...the 3 dog lines have aunts/uncles breeding with nieces/nephews, while the 4 dog lines have second cousins (I believe) breeding with each other. The difference I've noticed is that the 4 dog lines progress a little more quickly, since the dogs being bred are all from the same generation, while the 3 dog lines has, for example, a Gen 5 male breeding with Gen 4 female.

Yea I normally only use 4. For some odd reason when I made this I thought 8 was a better number. XD
 • 8 is a good number, if you make a mistake or one half of the line doesn't progress in a breeding like you'd hoped, you can "borrow" a spare from the other half!
