You can do so much with them<br>-Try using different brushes and <span style="font-style:italic">blending/layering </span>them<br>-To get a soft look, down the opacity<br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size:150"><span style="text-decoration:underline">Gradients:</span></span><br>-You can create your own 2color gradients by clicking on the top color box and selecting a color, then click the one under it to make the second color.<br><br><br><br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="font-size:150">Layering:</span></span><br>-To make a new layer:<br>..........*Select "<span style="font-style:italic">Layer</span>", "<span style="font-style:italic">New Layer</span>", -name your layer-, "<span style="font-style:italic">OK</span>"<br>-Now press <span style="font-style:italic">Ctrl</span> and "<span style="font-style:italic">L</span>" this brings up your layer tool box<br>-Mess around with "<span style="font-style:italic">Mode</span>" and the opacity this creates some really cool effects<br><br><br><br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="font-size:150">Borders:</span></span><br>-USE THEM!<br>-Select "<span style="font-style:italic">Select</span>", "<span style="font-style:italic">All</span>", go back to "<span style="font-style:italic">Select</span>" go to "<span style="font-style:italic">Border</span>", -type in pixels I suggest 2 or 3- "<span style="font-style:italic">OK</span>"<br><br><br><br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="font-size:150">Outlined Text:</span></span><br>-Adds an AMAZING difference to your banners or whateverthehecks<br>........*Select the "<span style="font-style:italic">A</span>" on your toolbox, Click where you want your text,<br>Type in text, click "<span style="font-style:italic">Close</span>", select "<span style="font-style:italic">Layer</span>" at the top of your window, "<span style="font-style:italic">Transparancy</span>", "<span style="font-style:italic">Alpha to Selection</span>", now go back up to "<span style="font-style:italic">Layer</span>", select "<span style="font-style:italic">Stack</span>", "<span style="font-style:italic">Select Bottom Layer</span>", now select "<span style="font-style:italic">Select</span>" and go to "<span style="font-style:italic">Grow</span>" choose your pixel size (I suggest 2 or 3), "<span style="font-style:italic">OK</span>" Now use the bucket fill or paint brush to fill in the text area, now choose your "<span style="font-style:italic">Rectangle Select Tool</span>" and click anywhere outside of the banner area<br><br><br><br><br><span style="text-decoration:underline"><span style="font-size:150">Filters:</span></span><br>-Select "Filters"<br>-Mess aroun with ALL of those, you might find some really cool effects<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br>Adding more later no worries!<br><br>let me know if this was helpful or not!
