Your dog's don't effect each other in any way. They are just like another competitor. If Dog #1 places each round, and Dog #2 comes in dead last, Dog #2 will be the dog eliminated and Dog #1 continues to round 3.

They should all be in the same group, but depending on the number of entrants, we may not even need groups. If we do, the two groups will have certain events specifically for that group, and by the second round we will only have enough players left …
