I don't think there is a recessive gifty gene at play in the game. I think one of the parents has to have the color, to have a chance of passing it on to pups.

How many "of a kind" (oak) will the dog be in future? I see it is currently 4oak - are you limiting it, say, to only ever being 5oak or something similar? (Meaning there would, at maximum, be 5 dogs in the game with this color, ever.) 1 mil

It would be possible, if they were both long groomed, but it really depends upon the dogs in question.

Standings update: A couple dogs have broken the 3 mil mark and still have time left to event! Very impressive! Remember to keep an eye on ages as we approach our end date - 12 is the magic number!

That's definitely a consideration for next time. I did not expect eventing to fly along so quickly! If everyone's dogs hit 12 years before the end date this may just end early.
