Considering doin some type of auction/contest for a unmade personal breed, how many people would be willing to participate?

I know I wouldn't have the VPC for one at auction but if it's a contest my interest would be highly peaked depending on the details.

I'm glad there is some interest! Any ideas. I was thinking of something where people would sell me 10x4s and gifties for cheaper than regular price and then for every dog sold there name would be entered in a drawing. So the more dogs I receive from a single person (but people are still paid for) the more likey they are to win. High risk high reward kind of thing. Any suggestions or feedback.

Hmm, but there are no consolation prizes so people would lose their valuable items. When they would be better off auctioning them off to get the highest price for them and save up their money

I appreciate they cost lots of money, but yeah lol.

I would be paying for each 10x4/giftie (just a moderately cheaper price like 4mil for a 1oak instead of 7mil) so that is technically a "consolation prize"

I get the idea...but not sure if I'd be into it. I'd be willing to work out a one-on-one deal like that, giving you a ton of rare gifties and 10x4s at a cheaper price (so you'd get a more favorable "exchange rate") and maybe some other tradeable stuff. But I wouldn't want to sell you all my dogs and only have a chance at a PB. Basically everybody would be paying you so you might end up getting way more than it's worth but only one person would get the item. I don't really have any suggestions other than a straight up auction. Just let individuals make offers perhaps including vpc, 10x4s, gifties, training, whatever.

id bite, but not everyone has 10*4s or gifties. but i have a few id be willing to sell. both gifties (1-5 OaKs) and a few 10*4s

you could also have an auction where people use the 10*4s and gifties to put toward the PB. example: SB: 50Mil(not saying it would be exactly like this. its just an example. BIN: 2 Bil HB: Someone bids the small bid by offering you 20Mil with 25Mil work of gifties and 10*4s. that way not everyone is loosing their dogs, but you will only have one winner. and then if they wanna sell you some of their dogs for a cheaper price you could do that on the side

Problem with that is that an unmade personal breed would be like 500mil, I doubt anyone person have enough gifites and 10x4s that i want to reach that price.

well. me and my partner have quite a collection. I can have her come up with a list of what we have and ill see exactly how much they will cost all together. (with the discount included) and maybe we can work something out

Are you only open to accepting gifties and 10x4s? I have a TON of gifties (at least 100), and plenty of 10s too but not sure how many of those you don't already have. That should be at least 300-400mil. So if you're open to it, and you and Peach don't work out a deal, I'd be happy to fill the rest out with vpc and maybe training. ...assuming you're willing to just sell it as opposed to an auction or contest :-)
