I am in the process of becoming a "livestock show farm" and am slowly building up my breeding herds until I have good stock. I brought home THIS girl to start my heifer business earlier this month. When I got her she was pulled off her mother in the pasture and in the last 3 weeks she's gone from a completely shy no human contact terror to almost being broke for shows. I have a friend who will be showing her in Junior shows this year and then she will be used to produce heifers (certain amazing bulls can produce only females) that will make up my herd. shes definitely got some personality lol! Her sire is out of the best farm for the breed and im gonna breed her to a bull from that farm as well.

Shes my pride and joy. I just found out she is going to all the major shows this year. Cannot wait to see her compete!

"Eat mor chickin". Lol. XD Sorry. Couldn't resist the Chick-fila joke even though she's not the same type of cow in the commercials. She's huge for only 6 months. She looks like she has a lot of personality too. Good luck in her shows. ^^

For some reason they used Holsteins for those commercials. Holsteins are milk cows... They're not used for beef lol!! Seven is a beef cow however will neve r be a hamburger xD

Lol. XD That's good to know that she won't be a hamburger. XD I think they use the milk cows because the standard "black and white" cows are what most people think of when they think of cows.

She's going to her first show in January. Ill actually be there as a steward in the sheep/goat ring but should get to see seven strut her stuff xD right now she has a bad cold and had to go to the vet today.

Seven has her first who this weekend!! Whooo! She got shaved yesterday and is looking much better though she's freezing right about now lol! Thanks! She's Miss Personality for sure. She's still a bit stubborn though. She's about to spend a few days hooked to a donkey to get some of her stubbornness out of her xD she's learned to hook people with her horns so she's been scheduled to have them removed next week after the show.

Brat face kept trying to hook people with her horns so we hd them removed. She's learned it's not so fun to hit her head anymore and has become much more pleasant!!
