What breed of dog is this?

Any idea on what breed of dog this is? i do dog fostering, and this is one of the dogs i have taken in. any ideas on his breed? hes 6 months old and weighs about 40--50 lbs. <br><br>heres some pics. <br><br><img src="http://i39.tinypic.com/k98h3c.jpg"; alt="http://i39.tinypic.com/k98h3c.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> - he has a half docked tail. <br><br><img src="http://i42.tinypic.com/or0b4l.jpg"; alt="http://i42.tinypic.com/or0b4l.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br><br><img src="http://i42.tinypic.com/2m2ie4z.jpg"; alt="http://i42.tinypic.com/2m2ie4z.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br><br><img src="http://i42.tinypic.com/14cv4sh.jpg"; alt="http://i42.tinypic.com/14cv4sh.jpg"; class="bb-image" /><br>This last pic makes him look smaller then thor, but he is bigger lol.<br><br>I was told black mouth cur/ Australian kelpie mix. but im not sure.

    Hound mix, possibly Labrador or something similar thrown in.

    He's very cute! I can definitely see where they said kelpie mix. In his last picture he looks like he's got kind of a blocky head? That makes me think maybe theres a little bit of Rotti or Pit in there? Maybe even some Shepard? It's so fun watching pups grow! Hope he gets a wonderful home! :)

    <span style="color:#400080">I agree with Zag, I would guess maybe black and tan coonhound and lab. My uncle had a similar mix and looked a lot like this pup. His coonhound lab mix ended up being about lab size when full grown. </span>

    From the pics, I'd say maybe Rottweiler/Shepherd cross. However, it's really hard to tell from photos. They can be deceiving. At the animal shelter I volunteer at, one of the dogs is listed as a Shepherd mix on their website and he really does look like a Shepherd mix in the photo they have of him up there. However, when I saw him in person and walked him, he is very obviously a terrier mix with maybe a very tiny bit of Shepherd in him at best if any at all.
