  How would you guys feel of having "advice nights"? <br><br>Our three advice givers could organize a system of vital information that has already been stated on VP and link the sources, adding their own opinions/thoughts to it and answering any questions. I could then update that information in the main post, making it clear for any seeking eyes to see. Let me know! Don't be afraid to add ideas, concerns, thoughts, etc.<br><br>Also, I would appreciate if I could have a volunteer write up an advertising system for the members willing to pm new players and/or post in the Bark Park. If you're available, please pm me! Thanks.<br><br>edit: I'm also needing a couple volunteers to begin organizing game or activity nights/days. As a newbie, some of the "slang"/ termanology on here is confusing to me.<br><br>Can somone explain to me what these terms mean?<br><br>Giftie<br>Dyes<br>Unmade Dyes<br>Made Dyes<br>Long Grooms<br>1oak,2oak,etc.<br><br>There might be more I'm forgetting from of the top of my head,but that's all I can think of for now.<br><br>Also, I thought 9x4 and 10x4 dogs were both wanted by people but it seems people aren't interested in 9x4s?

(For example, I have a Scottish Terrier with 'Classic Black w/ Red Apple or something along that lines. I paid for this and no other dog has that colour unless I bred from this dog.)<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Unmade Dyes</span> are the above, but if someones selling and unmade dye it means that they will buy the colour for you with real money and you can pay them in VPC or whatever they're looking for.<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Made Dyes</span> - This is when somebody has a dog which they have bought and coloured themselves on a dog of their own. If someone is selling a 'made dye' it means they're selling a one-of-a-kind (1OAK) DOG with this colour.<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Long Grooms</span> - This is a Training kennel specialty, as a Sponsor Trainer we are given the option of 'Special Groom' which lifts a dogs stats considerably more than a normal or novice/other kennel specialty would. With this we can train any dog past the 200 mark and get the loyalty to 600 - as well as raising discipline. This is essential when breeding quality next generation dogs or when you have Imports. <br><br><br>I hope this helps love </span>

  <br><br>Most people are more interested in 10x4s - especially if they've just recently been reached. Unless someone is working on their own line and needs a 9x4 to put into their line, they aren't really something that many players are looking for.

  <br>Ok. Thank you. Can't you pretty much breed anytime if one of your females is in heat and over 1 years old though? And even on my novice account, although the females aren't in heat all the time, it seems they come into heat pretty often relative to the amount of turns I take. I took 19 turns early today and more than one of my females was in heat for 3 or 4 of those turns. I imagine with unlimited sponsorship turns it wouldn't be too hard to just turn your dogs even more until they come into heat. However, low stats would be a problem for a breeding line though.

  <br><br><span style="font-size:85">I would personally say that a Training Kennel is much better than other kennels - but don't breed IN them. It will only cost you around 3000VPC for a breeding from a Breeding Kennel (A lot of sponsors have a breeding kennel for their own dogs but breed for the public too.) A Training kennel is excellent for training up your breeding/showing dogs and you can charge around 550000VPC per Training (Long Groom to 12 years) so it's good for building up money and making your dogs the best they can be <br><br>Breeding Kennels are best for breeding dogs IN, but I'd recommend having a Training Kennel as your main unless you want to pay around 550k per training to get a decent pup. Breeding kennels just mean that your dogs will have bigger litters and the chances of having pups with higher stats/stars than their parents is better.
