  My wisdom teeth are growing at strange angles, I am hoping I don't get them pulled as I really don't like the idea of having teeth pulled no matter the situation <br><br>I've never had an op but when I was taken into resus when I had go to A&E, and they put a catheter in my arm. Having been a vet nurse I had placed countless catheters in dog and cat legs but I was pathetic when I had it done to me, even though it didn't hurt a bit XD I was then too scared to bend my arm >.> I am such a chicken. But I am lucky I have big drain pipe veins in my arm. From the surface in the bend of my arm, the vein near the surface must be nearly as thick as a biro >.> -pokes arm-

  I had my tonsils out at 13 and I remember it very well! It took 3 nurses to hold me down as I was coming out of anesthesia because I was so combative and wild. Then I refused to eat and about 3 days later walked headlong into a wall, knowing I was missing the doorway, but not being able to stop or turn myself LOL I think that first experience with hospitals may be why I dislike them so much now.

  When I was 14-ish I had to have a biopsy on my liver. I won't get into the process because I know some people are squeamish, but all in all it wasn't a major deal. When I was coming out of anesthesia I asked my mom to go get the doctor immediately. The doctor of course thought there must be something wrong. Nope, I just felt the need to tell him that "when I'm able to walk, I'm going to punch you". <br><br>I know how sore wisdom teeth removal is, so I hope you feel better soon Coaster.

  I had my wisdom teeth pulled about 5 years ago and it wasn't to bad I did start crying uncontrollably after I came out of anesthesia though. A week after I had my wisdom teeth out I had knee surgery and that was also funny I was talking to the nurse about the most random stuff and only remember talking about deer hunting for some reason. My best one is this March I had emergency surgery to have my appendix removed and when I started to come out of the anesthetic I recognized the nurse she is a customer that comes into my work all the time and gets coffee, best part is I could tell her exactly what her drink is that she gets her and the anesthesiologist thought it was funny and odd that I could remember that being so sedated.

  I had my wisdom teeth pulled a couple of weeks ago too. As sore as they were though, they felt so much better than my mouth had prior to having them pulled. Hope yours feel better soon!

  I had to have my wisdom teeth -cut- out of my jawbone. Also had 4 other teeth removed while they were at it, so 8 out in that surgery making that 10 teeth removed from my mouth in total <br>I remember crying as they put the gas mask on me and not being able to fully open my jaw for well over a month after the surgery. <br><br><span style="font-size:50">I also may have cried when I still couldn't fit a donut in my mouth a couple of weeks after ;-;</span>

  Your stories have made me feel much better! Funny to see how everyone's experiences were so different!<br><span style="font-size:50">Clo even got a giggle out of me xD</span><br><br>I've been eating pudding, peanut butter, and mashed potatoes like it's my job but I'm actually feel pretty good and I'm not too sore even though it's only my 3rd day out of surgery.<br><br>My arm actually hurts more than my mouth at this point stupid tiny veins...
