I love my Kenya baby. She's about the most common ball/royal python morph (color mutation) on the market I couldn't imagine being somewhere without snakes!

They are all so lovely! I really love the geckos, I always wanted a leopard gecko but never have owned one. I ended up with a tiger salamander that has some similar care to geckos

Leopards are really an easy pet- as long as you get healthy ones from the start. I say healthy because some will literally starve themselves to death. I keep my guys in typical breeder setups- paper towel substrate, styrofoam bowl hides, food/water/calcium dishes, a humid hide for laying eggs + aid with shed, and if they're in a 20gal tank some type of wood to hide under or crawl on. I've never been into amphibians although the tiger does sound cool. The only amphibian I own is a wild-caught male grey tree frog- which I was surprised to see him thriving on crickets! lol

Its not very good at all and I don't trust it enough to leave a heat source on. We don't even leave air or heat on when we're not home other than the heaters in my fish aquariums. With Tama, my salamander, I don't need a heat source since they like it cooler so it works out for me. I call her my poor mans lizard (even though she's an amphibian and not a lizard) lol. She is super easy to care for. Once we move to a reliable house I want to get some sort of reptile. Either a gecko or a bearded dragon.

I hate when that happens. I always end up somehow deleting a lengthy response X__x With Tama all I have to do is change out her substrate every few months, clean her water dish every other day, feed her and spray the tank once or twice a day.

Thanks! She is a real sweetie. She is still changing color a bit. she is starting to turn yellow. With tiger salamanders they come in different varieties. Kinda like the leopard geckos with their morphs

I just did a google image search and there are both a blue type and an albino :O They are so neat :] There are some other common varieties too like eastern and banded. There are more types but I can't remember what they are -___-
