So this morning I finally touched down on home soil (Australia) after a two week vacation in Bangkok, Thailand.
I had a great time, but I can tell you I missed the clear blue sky and the smell of nature, it's all haze and stench over there!

The highlights of my trip were definitely visiting the Tiger Temple.
We did a morning program, where we could feed cubs, play and take photos with them, walk and wash them too.
After we washed the cubs we went into the little stadium where a bunch of large, adult cats were waiting to play.
Keep in mind these Tigers have been raised with these people from cubs, so the trainers and handlers know these Tigers
pretty well! We were given these sticks with tiger toys (I guess?) and got to play with them for a bit. Some of them were
pretty excited about the toys, one in particular (the biggest one there!) had his eyes on one toy, and any time he got a
hold of it, he'd snatch it from the handler and run! We got to take in turns of walking a big tiger, photo opportunities
really... Then we had the chance to pose with a big tiger's head in our laps! I think he just wanted to sleep though!
The best part, I think, was watching the tigers play in the water. Jumping off these rocks into the water. They looked
like they were having fun in the heat!

After the Tigers we went for an Elephant Trek. Our Elephants name was Kungchat (that's how it was pronounced, not
sure about the spelling!) and he was very pretty! Wasn't the biggest one there, probably the medium height. I think the
Mahout (handler/rider) said he was like, 1450kgs or something!

I will get around to posting some photos, but still going through them all!
We did a lot of shopping, clothes, clothes, shoes, clothes and more clothes!!
Anyway.. has anyone else been to Thailand!?
