Have I been around longer than you Vampy? Or did you just create a forum account late? Since I started March 2007 and made my forum account later of course

and thats going off the dates on my old kennel which isnt the oldest but it was probably like a month earlier that I started playing lol

Im not sure Tiggy. I played off and on for two years before i truely got serious on the game. I can remember getting my first sponsor/goodie 6 years ago and i played around 3 or 4 years prior to FINALLY getting that. So ive been here a WHILE xD

I like it. I don't remember it just feels like you've been here forever, but then again most people do who are the oldies. LOL. Either way I know we have only been talking for a couple of years cause I remember talking to a lot of extremely emo people when I first joined

There used to be LOADS i can remember most of their usernames, they were like my best friends for like 3years... and then they all ditched me lol... I havent talked to one of them that i kept in contact with for over a year so who knows whats happened to him... Oh well I have you now xD And I know what you mean, i've spent too much money on this game just to quit... I still come around and I just love the people here too

I just wish it was as active as it used to be! I miss the old days!! I honestly thing its because the barkpark was restricted to novices. Novices had a hard enough time getting their services known without having no way to express it. I understand it was being abused and they still have the forums but ive seen some post of the forums in dogs for sale and they never get a response at all. Now there are rarely novices that stay.

I guess I'd be considered a "lurker" since I haven't posted anything in a looong time. I agree with y'all, I have too much time and money invested in this game to just leave. I never thought I'd be out of college and married and still playing..

Agreed, when my friends left, i felt like all my close family had disappeared and you could talk to anyone you didn't know and they didn't care they accepted you and tended to talk to you. But now when you seem to talk to someone knew it's always about business or helping them out, never for the fun of talking to someone. I used to love my little VP family, though I have lots of new VP family now

Haha, I like being an oldie here. I do miss the old days though. I remember buying a sponsor at auction for 29 mill. Those were the days... I joined in June 2006 and bought my first sponsor a month later.

I was just telling a friend the old prices... I miss the days, but then again it was harder to make money, I loved it when I made my first million, and I got my first sponsor pretty early on too Zag, I found some money on my way out of school so then I bought my first sponsor with it by getting my friends dad to buy it cause i was too scared that my own would say no lol

I slipped my best friends dad 20$ (back when sponsors were only 20$) and he bought my and her first sponsors for us! Those were the good ole days xD

I remember I mailed mine, took my Christmas money. Wrote the envelope, and stole a stamp from my dads desk. Such a rebel child. XD I found something that blew my mind today. Super groom. Shows how long I've been away.

This post made me laugh

i would consider myself an "oldie". One of the first kenels I kept track of is from October 16, 2004. (If any of you know Wheaton, she was my best friend at the time and introduced me to the game). I still occasionally "stalk" the forum and the game. It seems everything I come back something has changed. I think the changes keep it interesting though

Yes! haha I use tabs, on firefox, but had no idea about supergroom until about two days ago. It really is. Cuts training time by like 80%.

I know I consider others oldies but I usually forget to put myself in that category too lol. I've been here since 2004. I didn't get a forum account till later though. My first sponsor was $20 and I spent my birthday money on it. Slow mailed it. I never thought I'd still be here. But I still have lots of friends and still love the game.

Heh, I found the game while bored late one night and googling "dog sim games". Only game I ever stuck long term with and I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon :P We can get the community back to how it was, will just take a little work and some of the "oldies" coming back
