She's beautiful! I love how she looks in the first pic. We have a stable near here that breeds Friesians. I've always been tempted to go over there in spring pretending to want to buy one just to ogle all the foals lol

I'm soooo excited to be able to have her on the farm! She was bred as a dressage prospect but has rather flat movement and just wasn't cut out for the job. She's well tempered, affectionate, and learns quickly which is always a plus.
The two foals we have are friesian crosses (Sammy will be leaving in a couple week though right around the time we get Lea) and they're ADORABLE. I've worked with Friesian crosses but never a full one! She and the baby will be so much fun!
I'll DEFINITELY have video of me riding her and I'll probably make a separate post for her and the baby
Wow! One of my favorite breeds! Never met one in person though! Just stunning!

I've gotten the chance to work on the ground with one full Friesian but I've never ridden one! She's going to be sooo much fun and so is the foal!
She was bred as a dressage prospect but has kind of flat movement so they were just training her as a pleasure horse. I'll hopefully be able to show her before March because that's when we'll put her out on pasture.

I can't wait to get her on the farm!
You should post more pics of her! For some reason, she's so pretty I could just stare at her all day... O.O

GOOD NEWS!
We MIGHT be getting her a day early! Aaand I'll be the first to ride her! (aside from her owner of course)
There will be video of me riding, I promise!
I don't know if it's just me, but she looks tall for a Friesian. Which just makes her that much cooler to me since I'm tall lol
It's the way she's bred, I believe. Most Friesians are built heavier, so she looks taller because she has the build of a sporthorse. (:

She was bred as a dressage prospect so she does have a lighter and more sleek build BUT she is also considered tall for a Friesian. 16 hands is considered generally tall for a Friesian and she measures 16.2

Well we didn't get to ride her today because it was so windy and my trainer got kicked pretty hard by one of the horses last night so she's pretty sore.
>.< the indoor arena is SOOO loud when the wind picks up.

To be safe, we're waiting until after Christmas to ride her.
We're planning on riding her on Monday! We'll lunge her to see how hyped up she is in the indoor arena and I'll probably be the first one on her (let's hope she's not too fresh lol)

so pictures and video on Monday!
