Ravens Boyfriend :D And the other girls and thier boyfriends

So me and my mom have decided to breed my mare, and where this all started was, we were picking up a new horse named pilgrim and they had 3 stallions there, Well when we pulled up there was this GORGEOUS stallion. I fell in love instantly. His name is McGuires Ghost, He is a familar stallion with Rocky Mountain horses. Well Ghost is great. Raven is home now.     -Note, The stallion does not have a red gene so no matter what he will not throw a red based foal :D Im excited. <3 <br><br>Foal watch of 2013 i think so <3 <br><br>4 pregnant mares. :D <br><br>If you guys wanna see the rest and all the studs let me know :D

    Do you know Ghosts Agouti and red status? Also do you know Ravens red status?

    I know Ghosts' red one, he will never throw a red based foal. <br>And the lady who owns him said that he throws the cream gene so hopefully we get something nice. <br>Im not sure about ravens, but previously she has had red based foals.

    That rules out a palomino baby. Youll either get a smoaky black or a buckskin depending solely on Ghosts agouti status. If he's A/A then youll always get a buckskin out of this cross but if he is A/a then you have a chance of a smoaky black =) Those are your only two color options.

    :D <br><br>There not very popular for the breed. So it would deff help sell the foal. <br><br>Im not sure if i want a filly or a colt. Kinda a filly.

    There are pros and cons for each. I truely tend to like mares better but thats because all my favorite riding horses are mares.

    My first horse was a gelding and the idea that "Geldings are calmer and chilled out and just want to please" is not him AT ALL. He loes to buck, have hissy fits over not having his way, and be difficult to handle. I switched from him to a barrel racing horse and SHE was calmer. I showed her for three years and then i got my QH mare whom i had to do a LOT of retraining on but she's getting better and better every day. My mares might have attitudes but they know how to behave and are more brave than my gelding is. Then i got Ro and he was raised the right way so im hoping he will be how geldings are supposed to be. He's got the attitude that he will climb a mountain for you if he likes you and always try his heart out to understand but if he doesnt like you or hasnt learned to trust you its best not to even get near him because his trust can be ruined fairly easily if you mess up with him. My mother refuses to touch him unless im there.

    Yeah, my friends mom is so against her having a mare. But i try to talk them up cause there not even that bad we have 4 mares and mine is the only one who really acts up but shes already a hotter horse to start with. But mares are really nice to ride.

    Ima mare person. I always look for mares when i look for horses. Not saying egeldings arent great but if im spending money on a horse i want to be able to have the choice to breed them. Thats why i always look for good conformation first and foremost on a horse.
