So, May 24, 2012 my cow, Bella Aka Annabelle, had her calf, Its a girl! And shes healthy. Shes very cute and already playing and running.     Yea it is hard..<br>I had never worked with cows -ever- and I took an AG class<br>well I bought a steer and we had to care for them for 9months and at the end we had to show them at the fair and then auction them off.<br>It was an awesome experience but a lot of work :D<br>Okay I shall stop hijacking your thread now xD<br>Have fun with her!

    Was her father a belted galloway? Those are my mothers favorites! She wants some of them, the belted pigs, and the belted goats to make a matched set!

    I like it! xD i might be more of a horse expert but i do love my moo's! My best friend shows santa gertrudis (sp??) and we both pick up bottle babies to raise over the summers. The ranchers at the cattle sales think its hilarious that she and i get out there and do our own bidding on our calves and things. Were both teenage girls who are at these nasty smelly holes who love being there. They tend to give us hard times but love seeing us there. Every time i get a calf they all come over to see it and give me advice on em xD

    Lol, yeah were just breeding are 2 girls, we'll have another calf in october. So there will be more, I was more excited about This one, because it was my cows calf lol. I love the horses too of course, and my mom is breeding her horse for sure, and then maybe our other 2, we are not by any means "backyard breeders" We are breeding to good horses, and making good foals, and putting them up right when the mares are confirmed prego.
