First things first.. Willy is not a dog. Willy is not a cat. Willy isn't of the rodent family. Or the reptile family.

He is a caterpillar. XD

I know, I know, how close to a 5 year old can I get? I couldn't help myself, though! I found him a couple days ago on the driveway, the evening before it was suppose to snow (never snowed, by the way, thank god). I think he was out because just the week before we got hit by that heat wave. Anyway.. When I found him he wasn't very lively, I assumed he was on his way out anyway. So, I set up a little container like the little 5 year old I am, complete with grass, my best guess for leaves he might eat, bark, and a pinch of water. XD I really hadn't expected him to live, just because it is still pretty cold, but, he survived the night. Then the next night, which is even more a miracle seeing I sort of forgotten about him..

Willy is just a little guy, so I'm not really sure what he is yet, though I'm leaning towards wooly bear. Just judging by the way he acts, what he seems to have been eating and how hardy he is. I plan to let him back out in a couple weeks, once it's warmer, even though it would be pretty neat to watch him grow. I've kept wooly bears before, one called Snitzel, actually. XD He lasted through a couple months, really cold temperatures, and a bit of neglect at times on my part. His death was actually my fault, another reason for not keeping Willy.

I even took pictures.. Fail, I know. Let me know what you guys think he could be.
<a href="
