Thanks! Yea they do make some awful nice dogs. He is by far the best puppy we've had, he's already trained to "go potty" on a newspaper, and we've had him for less than 24 hours.
and started that puppies on -adult- dog food :x Now that he's with us though, he's obviously on puppy food...

Aacctuualllyyy, if you aren't feeding raw all life stages kinda food is better to give puppies because puppy food makes them grow too fast. If you really think about it too, wolf pups in the wild get the same deer as all the others once they are weaned. A great all life stages in Canidae, it also comes in grain free and we use it to supplement our dogs because we don't have the time or money to feed raw at the moment.

Oh, and ps- If you are getting him neutered, which I hope you are then its better to neuter them latter its a new thing the vets just learned about. If you neuter them early they will grow bigger then they should and it will affect their I believe back knees and can develop into a problem latter on.
Thank you

It wasn't all life stages food. It was the cheapest adult food they could buy.
Yea I'm getting all three dogs neutered in October, do you think that would be a good amount of time, or should I wait longer than that for Boss?
Is he 5 weeks and with you right now?

9 months is pretty good, a lot better then the8 weeks or 5 months people are often doing it. Some where really close before he matures or after seems to be the best time. It's easier to tell with females because you can tell when they go into heat and its only a few weeks of a dog looking for another unaltered dog.
Emme - Yea, he's 5 weeks right now, and with me.
Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.

Sweety - lol Right? It looks like a swimming pool next to him

Nevalanie - lol Oh I know you do. No stealing of the puppers...unless you want to steal him long enough for crate training and "potty" training!
O.O i want. i want badly.
that puppy ranks up there with the top 5 cutest puppies I've ever seen...and trust me...I've seen A LOT of puppies (I work at a humane society).
Boss is absolutely ADORABLE!!! <333
How cute! So fluffy! He certainly took on the Labrador looks. Have fun with him and I'm so glad that you're getting them neutered. i was going to comment on the hound. 8)
Noo omg some times when she bites my pants she gets my skin and i make a high pitched noise she stops.she is very smart though she knows her name threw the tunnel and come she is only 8 weeks old.
Ouch! >.<
What's her name?
Aw that's really cool! So far Boss knows his name and "come", and he's just about "potty" trained. Well, sorta. I have him trained for a newspaper since it's way too cold for him to go outside yet.
Her name is Leah...yeah she is on the newspaper but we have a kennel run so she gos outside it was unny she was scrating the door and i opened it and she went to the bathroom and pranced back in the house like she is queen.
