Chat?

Does anyone still use chat? Like ever? I remember back in the day like EVERYONE got on there for hours, but every time i've gotten on there since I came back its a ghost town. So I was just curious. On a side note, my room smells like chicken tacos and now I REALLY wanna go to taco bueno.

I never used to get on chat.. but yesterday I said to myself, why not? I wanna make chat buddies... but it was a ghost town.. o.o good to know it hasn't always been like that lol Tacos sound good XD

Once in awhile a rare while there are people on, sometimes i'd get on between classes and people would be on, sometimes late at night but not like it used to be ;-;

Well, the real reason that no newer players go on it no more, is because they don't know how to! I have been on for a year now and I have NO clue what to do on it. Maybe someone should make something that explains Chat so newer players can see. Then I bet it will be more busy ;P

Easily enough, but as everyone has said before, its a ghost Town XD Anyone up for chat then? EDIT: Also, when I go onto it, it shows up with a black screen O.O

@ collie: thats really weird~ maybe its your browser and to everyone: we should set up a chat party. like for everyone because I miss the days when everyone would be in chat for hours too!

Wish I could, but I barely have time to do that now, and my laptop wouldn't let me get on since I kept getting disconnected from mibbit. I won't be going on anything time soon, till I fix the problem

Chat hates me, always gives me trouble. XD But I check in every once in a while, I think once or twice there has been any conversation, though. We should have a chat party or something, that'd be neat! Or organize a trivia night, those get lots of people!

I Remember back in the day they use to do the trivia chat parties, where like you had to have a secret word to get in and you won awesome prizes and stuff. It was epic.

There were trivia nights about six months ago, but it's a lot to manage. I did one, and the admins did two, and Aziu and Anastasia did... a lot. xD

I actually get on almost every day

I'm usually on from about 1500est to 2100est. Even when my nick says I'm training, I constantly check in during my half-way break if they're grooms or after every dog I finish.

And more if I actually have a conversation going on, lol. Oh how I miss the good ol' days that Lyc, Lab, and Wheatums mentioned. $:\$ I actually think we have a "tutorial" for how to use it here on the forums as well..though I don't know if it was ever stickied so it didn't sink to the abyss of pages after the first. xD I use wikked.org to sign in though, because the chat on VP (that you get onto through VP) makes everything lag for me. ;;

everytime they would host those chat trivias I would either have work or class XD fail... I wish someone did that again. Ill be on chat tofay, if my internet isn't so slow.... -_-

We've tried to have parties, but staff aren't free to manage it. Or players sort of drift off the face of the earth. Also, it is cheating to have prize givings just to get people to turn up. As they turn up to be greedy, win stuff, then never come back into chat until the next prize give away =p But if a couple of players would like to put something together, I'm sure if you mention it to myself or another op to see if someone is free that day just to "over see" the event we would be more than happy to do so. I've been dying this last week, so not been in chat really myself, other than brief visits whilst I just check messages etc. Then I retreat back to the sofa with the duvet, hot drink, tissues and Pokemon 8D Also if people feel there is not adequate guides/information on accessing different types of chat clients (be it web based like Mibbit, or a standalone program like mIRC) then please just put one together and again mention it to an op and we'll sticky it if it has good explanation and doesn't repeat already existing stickied posts.
