What age does this puppy look to be?

Ok, I have a friend who recently bought an APBT...and I'm really kind of irritated by it. I believe she bought it from a dog fighter. Anyways, she claims it is 6 weeks, but to me it looks younger than that. 4 weeks, maybe 5. I'd say 5-6 weeks but my guess is as good as yours. I find it difficult to determine some puppies' ages. Regardless, the poor baby is still way too young to be separated from momma.

I can only tell how young she is by how tiny her body is, she can easily fit in the palm of two hands. My English Bulldog at 6 weeks was bigger than that, & this is a APBT...so I would imagine it should be bigger. Where is Zag haha, I figured she would know!

That pup is 4 to 5 weeks old at the most I'd say. A friend recently had a litter of apbt's and the 6 week old pups were definitely bigger then that. Every puppy grows at a different rate but that one is young.

I would say 4/5 weeks too. Any way you loo at it though, she is still to young. Also, anyone who would get a puppy that yourg probably shouldn't have a pit bull. She will need to do a lot of socilization, or return the dog.

I just raised a litter, that's about how big they were at four weeks. Weren't seperated from mom for a while though, the poor baby is way to young.

I would say 4-5 weeks old you should be able to tell by the teeth!

Teeth is just an estimate, it's not an on dot age. Puppies within the first few months of their life tend to have the same needle like teeth. I'll try getting more pictures up!

In quite a few states it's illegal to sell a puppy that young, even if it is 6 weeks... I'd look up your states laws and try to get the breeders name from your friend. That way you could get the cops involved and hopefully get the breeder put away if they are dog fighting.

That's what I figured lol. She is very cute, they are feeding her solids already, like hard dog food...she should at least be on soft foods. I am so mad they got her so I would love to steal her. lol. >_> They had one APBT who was older, I don't know what happened to her but I'm positive she was a breeder for the dog fighting ring. (they don't fight them, but I'm sure the people they are getting these dogs from do.)

By these pictures I would say 4 maybe even 3 weeks. I raised a litter of Lab mixes about the size of APBT's and they were about this size at 3 weeks.

If you know who the breeder is or where they live, you could report them to animal control and hopefully they'd do their job and investigate.
