• Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, or any thing by Laurie Halse Anderson. Some of my favorites from her are twisted, Fever, 1793, Chains..

Have you read the Hunger Games yet? They are THE BEST! I also hear the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is good.

One I just read was Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes and I really liked it.

Shabanu by Suzanne Fisher Staple is a super story and I am waiting on the third book.

Paint the Wind by Pam Munoz Ryan is another one I like. Its semi long but in a lower reading level.

War Horse by Michael Morpurgo is a fantastic book.

Anything from the Thoroughbred series.

I'll have to rack my mental book case and come up with some more ;)

 • I dont know if your into the paranormal teen romance stuff but try looking into the Morganville vampires. Its adventure and romance but just enough romace to keep you hooked not enough to gross you out, deffently more life like in that aspect. and has a really good plot, but you kinda need to read them right after another cause the story continues through all the books with twist here or there... its really good just read em

 • Definitely I would recommend the Hunger Games Trilogy! <3 My favorite book series ever! :)

 • Agreed with Dancer, Hunger Games is just great :) on the third book and still not bored. Also The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Trilogy also known as the Millenium Triology is brilliant if you love Mystery, but be warned there are some gross scenes. Also if you havent read it yet The Host by Stephanie Meyer is AWESOME

 • Im probolly not the best source considering Im more into books that a middle aged mom would enjoy, but I do reccomend the Thorn Birds. I'ts a little old, but its a classic. And goes through 1907-1965 so had a wide variety of history within it, along with the scandells o.o

 • The Wolves Of Mercy Falls Series by Maggie Stiefvater
Shiver
Linger
Forever

And then The Scorpio Races is also by her, and it was about as hard to put down as The Hunger Games.

Of course, The Hunger Games were terrific.

 • Myst, ya. The movie was pretty pathetic, but the book was 10000000000 x better. XD
 • Back to books, if you havent read a series called Gifted by Marilyn Kaye you should, they are pretty amazing, like kind of superhero stuff and a very good read. I actually got the first one for free with Evermore by Alison Noel once
