• I would love to see it! I'll probably have to wait until it comes out on DVD though. It's so expensive to go to the theater.

  • Such an incredibly beautiful movie, especially for those who are extremely close to their own horse and can connect. I think I started crying around half-way through, and sobbing at the end. XD

It'd better be nominated for an Oscar.

  • actually i think its nominated for like... two grammys and one is Movie of the year.
  • Good. It deserves it.

  • Seeing it on friday with my boyfriend, but he only agreed to come because he likes the war side -.- Oh well haha
There's a book?! I'll read it after the movie in that case, movies always seem to ruin books for me :\
  • I never really wanted to go, but in a last minute decision me and some friends had gone to the theater and it was the only one playing at that time. I'm not one for heart wrenching movies, but I guess my love for animals and my own relationship with my horses won me over in the end, and I really enjoyed it. Although I didn't cry... only animal movie that made me tear up even in the slightest was Old Yeller and Where The Red Fern Grows. xD But I was way young.
Goodbye old VP, hello disaster. xD
  • Eh.. that movie was too much for me. Also, I didn't like how it went from good, to bad, good, to bad. XD

I cried my eyes out the entire movie. XD

Book has been out since 2002. Michael Morpurgo is an awesome author. And no doubt the film has ruined the book. I always opt for books over films, as I dislike how they miss stuff out and ruin characters.

I totally agree in the movie they missed a lot of parts that were in the book and added in new things that weren't in the book,But i really liked it if i had to choose one out of 5 stars I would give it 5

  • I saw it last night. It wasn't as sad as you all made it seem. I figured I'd be crying my eyes out the whole time. But, I only teared up at the end when the grandpa gave the boy Joey back. It was my kind of action movie as I really like war movies and horses. :)

I was actually the same way. As a horse person i figured it conect with the movie and cry my eyes out the entire time (I bawl in flicka O-o EVERY time.) But i guess it mightve been since ive read the book and know it ends good?
  • I typically cry very easily. The movie reminded me so much of Black Beauty in some parts. :)
