  I just have to enter this. I know mine sounds all sappy and whatnot, but oh well. :P<br><br><br>I've taken a lot of things in life for granted. I've missed out on opportunities I otherwise should have taken, convincing myself against it with unintelligible logic. While the things I've experienced in life are small to others, they were some of the most difficult obstacles I could ever face. So really, what am I thankful for? I'm thankful for my friends who have been there for me even when they could have walked away. I'm thankful for the bad times to make the good stand out. I'm thankful for Virtual Pups, because without this game, I would not have one of the best friends a person could ever dream of. I'm thankful for my best friend for dozens of wonderful memories. I'm thankful for her wisdom, support, and advice to keep me going. I owe her more than she'll ever know.

  I won't get through this without shedding a tear, so somebody want to get a tissue for me? *chuckles*<br><br>I'm most greatful for having known my best friend. The one that I could tell everything to, no matter what it was. Though I miss him every single day, and sometimes it feels like I can't take another breath without him by my side, I cherish every memory of his 6 years on the Earth. This gentle soul I speak of was my black Lab, Dusty.<br><br>EDIT:<br>I'm sorry, I just realized that there are dates, so I'm not sure if it was ok to post already or not.

  I am greatful for many things and people in my life. But I have to say that my pets, my fur children are what I am most greatful for. They are my best friends, my four kitties and three dogs. I can talk to them without having them judge me and they act like they listen. I can take them out in public and everyone comes up to talk about them. I'm a pretty shy person and they really get me to open up to people. They have helped me a lot. If it weren't for them, I'd probably be stuck in my house all day alone. They make me do things and go out in public. They are my world. I'm so thankful for them all.

  Im greatful for a lot. I have more than a lot of people do. Two parents whom love each other and try there best to be there for me. A roof provided over my head plus the land to house the animals that fill my dreams. I have health that allows me to own all kinds of animals and not become itchy or sneeze every time i get around them. I have the best job i could ever have imagined and i go to a rather good college. I have two dogs who can practically read my thoughts and stick by my side through thick and thin. I have three horses who all mean so much to me. Two of which i were given by family and friends out of love. Not because they didnt need them anymore. Just because they wanted to do something nice for me. Ive got a flock of sheep whom have the funniest antics and whos babies i sell for livestock shows because im too old to show myself and i sell them quite nicely, as well as my rabbits who i love to watch. I dont have to worry about where my next meal comes from or if i will make it through the winter. I have the freedom to pursue my dreams and to reach for my goals. Also im thankful for my brother and my soon to be sister in law who fits in so amazingly with our family and has become one of my good friends in the process. Im thankful for my friends who stick closer than family and im thankful that i have the ability to realize how amazingly lucky i am to live my life.

I won't go into detail about them because they are very personal but they have affected me deeply. I've lost both of my parents and I miss them very much. I guess the thing I'm most greatful for this year are the memories I have of my mother and father. While they have been gone for a few years now their love and memories live on in my heart. They may be gone but they will never be forgotten.

  I'm thankful for my friend's sense of humor. It takes a lot for my friends to take a difficult situation and turn my frown into a smile. For example, a couple of years ago by brother-in-law was killed in a motorcycle accident. I wasn't very close to him, but I still cried. I didn't cry in front of my parents, but as soon as I saw my friends at school I bawled. For days after that, every day I saw them they would say or do something to make me smile and it essentially kept me from falling. I had them, and they weren't afraid to make me smile even in the worst of times. We know no such thing as 'walkin on egg shells', we be sure to make eachother smile everyday. I'm thankful that I have them.

  I can't even begin to put everything I'm thankful for. <br><br>Last year, my dog died on the first of December. Not only was he family, he was my best friend and I was at school so I could do nothing. I'm thankful that I've had the strength to talk about him and remember him without having to burst into tears. I've lost some loved ones and I'm grateful to keep them close to my heart too. I'm grateful that I still have another dog we've had for 7 years and have been able to get closer to him after the death.<br><br>I'm grateful that my family is well off to buy food, take care of the dog we have, and still have money for occasional treats. <br><br>I'm grateful for the friends that support me, the education I've achieved(I'm in gifted), and the memories that I still remember today. I'm grateful that with each death that comes, a fire burns in me that allows me to carry on. I'm grateful for everything around me.

  Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why we call it the present.

  Oh wow there is soo much I am grateful for.. but I think I am most grateful for being able to spend 6 lovely years with my bestestfriend in the world. He was my shoulder to cry on and always made me smile when I was down. I miss him everyday and I have days where I just breakdown and wish I had that shoulder to cry on but I know he is in peace now.
