Hirano and Miscov! (Bet you can't guess which is which.) They have come this year to spread some gifts to all. Now Hirano and Miscov are confused little lads, not yet capable of keeping their thoughts straight, so it's up to you all to help them out before it's too late.<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-size:115"><span style="font-weight:bold">How This Works</span></span><br><br>You will select a stocking. Each stocking color represents a different type of stocking filler that you will receive. There are four different colors: Red, Green, Blue, and Pink. Each has a grey top. Each stocking is worth roughly the same value. You will not know what your stocking filler is until December 25th, though it has already been decided. <br><br>After you have selected your stocking, you must put your name on it. This is just a way for me to make sure you're actually doing something worth the time I've put into the creation of this event. Please use your game names or nicknames only - no real names. Stockings with real names will be removed. You may place your name anywhere on the stocking, and it can either be written or typed.<br><br>After you have completed your stocking, you will upload it to any photo hosting site. It really doesn't matter where you load it, just make sure you post it in your initial submission. To submit it (and ultimately enter this event), please post the following form.<br><br>

<br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="font-size:115">Bonus Prizes</span></span><br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">You didn't think Hirano and Miscov would let you all just have some stockings, did you?</span><br><br><span style="font-style:italic">"Well, actually, Miscov thought it would be amusing to eat the remaining gifts," Hirano chimes in.</span><br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Hirano knows you all like more - the more the merrier, right? Something like that. So before Miscov bloats from his weird cravings, lets move onto the best part.</span><br><br>"Everyone likes big things. Big houses, big money---"<br>"big milkbones..."<br>"... you get the idea."<br><br>"Well how about this. You all do me a favor, and I'll give you a chance at what you're seeking."<br>"How is that a giveaway then, Hirano?"<br>"Would you calm down Miscov? Nothing is free in this world. It all comes at a price."<br>"*mumbles* Tummy rubs are free."<br>"Can we move on?"<br>"I guess."<br><br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Hirano has a deal. You write one creative story about anything that makes you happy. You submit it and it makes him happy. Happiness equals entry to win one of Hiranos big stockings.</span><br><br>"So Hirano?"<br>"Yes?"<br>"What's inside those big stockings anyway?"<br>"It's not for you."<br>"Well it's not for you either!"<br>"What is that even supposed to mean?"<br>"I don't know. I just felt like saying it..."<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">There are four big stockings, one contains a six month upgrade, one contains a goodie dye, and the remaining two each contain a set of imports.</span><br><br><br><br>[ ------ || ------ ]<br><br><br>As stated above, you can enter to win a larger prize by writing a short, creative story. The topic or plot line can be anything that you can possibly write about. Anything from dogs, to people, to the universe. If you can make a story about a heroic stalk of broccoli, more power to you. <br><br>The stories have to be written well, as in, it has to be evident that there was at least a sliver of effort put into it. If you give me a five lined story about the life of a midget mouse who ate corn all day, I'll give you a five lined explanation as to why it wasn't accepted. <br><br>Also, if there are not enough entries to justify the story prizes, I will remove some of them. Chances are, anything under 10 entries will result in the smaller two prizes being removed. I apologize for this, but there is no point for me to spend almost $40 when I get only a handful of entries. It's at least worth a shot to try for the stories -- you have nothing to lose.<br><br>This is meant to be fun. Please use proper spelling and grammar, or at least make it so that I can understand what is trying to be said. Please don't write the story "lyke dis cuz it dont lok 2 gud." You don't have to write some super long thing, but please don't just write ten lines and call it a story.<br><br>So simplified instructions: any topic, written well, not too short and not too long. Oh, and don't steal or plagiarize.<br><br>Also, submit it by private message. Posting just opens it up to being stolen and gives other people an advantage. <br><br><br>[ ------ || ------ ]<br><br><br><br><span style="font-size:115"><span style="font-weight:bold">Information You Need</span></span><br><br>Please read these important dates carefully. No late submissions will be permitted. No exceptions! If you have questions, please ask.<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Starts:</span> November 15<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Stocking Entries End:</span> December 15 <span style="color:#FF0000">Edited: December 10th</span><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Stockings Opened:</span> December 16 <span style="color:#FF0000">Edited: December 10th</span><br><span style="font-weight:bold">Story Entries End:</span> December 23<br><span style="font-weight:bold">Big Stockings Awarded:</span> December 26<br><br><br>-- Stories will be judged by myself, my brother, and my mother. This gives two non-VPers as judges.<br>-- Regular stockings are already assigned a prize determined by their color. Each one has roughly the same value. Nobody other than myself knows the stocking contents.<br>-- All stockings need to be picked up within two weeks of completion, and all big stockings (story winners) need to pick up their prizes within two weeks of completion. For ease, this means regular stockings must be picked up by December 29 and the story stockings must be picked up by Jan 9th. I will <span style="font-weight:bold">not</span> hold prizes any longer than that and you will forfeit the prize.<br>-- Stolen work will result in an immediate disqualification.<br>-- Bickering and other obnoxious or aggressive behavior may lead to disqualification of all parties involved.<br>-- If there is a slight delay in judging or awarding, it may be due to the holidays.<br>-- This is a special event.
