Fame points?

What are fame points? And how do I get them? I'm really new to this game. :|

    Fame points are earned by entering dogs in events. The better they do, the more points you get, I think it is. They can be used to raise a dog's stats, or placed in skills. Novices can only place them in handling skills - this helps when eventing dogs. Hope this helps :)
