Okay so I am an officer for my chapter's FFA.
My FFA adviser/ Ag science teacher told me when I kept my pigs at the school farm, that in order to keep them there I must pay $40 in rent. No big deal.
Then she refunded my $40 and had me feed the 'FFA steer' that stayed at the school's farm in replace of my money for my rent.

Well my hogs were auctioned off Sunday so they're not staying at the school farm anymore.
But the night my hogs were auctioned off I was approached by a group of FFA member's parents. Many of which work at the school I go to.
The things they told me really shocked me.

1) You weren't supposed to be required to pay rent for an FFA project at the school farm. (My hogs were my FFA projects.)

2) Even though my FFA adviser told me that Steve, the FFA steer, was the FFA's project... She lied. He was her personal steer that she slaughtered, sold, and kept the money for herself.

This isn't that big of a deal for me, since I only live 2 miles from the school farm. But Steve had to be fed twice a day, I only went out once a day. There was another kid that went out at night to feed, sometimes at around midnight because he was so busy. And he lived about 20 miles from the school farm!

I just can't believe my FFA adviser/teacher would lie to me about that. She pretty much pushed her work on me, and took the credit. Okay she didn't pretty much do that.. She DID.

All of the parents of FFA students are going to talk to the school board about this. Thank goodness.
