• Pigs were last night. I got last, last again, and showmanship was a joke because they rushed the judge because it was going on 10:30. Anyways goats today, and goats just make me happy...

She put up the girl who didn't touch her goat her parents did all the work.

Juniors don't always do that because they can't have a good show dog. My dogs a very well conformed Shiba Inu, who I show in conformation and he doubles as a juniors dog. And I didn't even buy him, he was from a breeder who's husband was ill and couldn't have the dogs indoors so she needed to find new homes for them..

Sorry but that offended me a bit.. As a 5 year-and-counting junior and conformation dog handler XD

There's showmanship for dairy cattle, beef cattle, hogs, goats, chickens, rabbits, sheep, dogs, horses, and even cats. There's showmanship for just about anything, same goes for type/conformation or whatever it's called depending on the species of animal being shown.

 • Sorry! I Disnt mean it like that! I maen can't juniors not show in conformation? I always thought that was a rule? Sorry I was trying to explain it the best I could... As you can see I don't do showmanship but I do, do dog sports... By that I ment not everyone is lucky enough to do conformation because something is holding them back from getting a dog that can compeat in conformation, like say they like the sport but can only use the family dog. I don't no it's late and I don't no what I'm talking about ill shut up now...
It's not you're fault, you're human and make mistakes :)

Juniors can show in conformation, but they cannot show someone else's dog in the conformation while getting paid for it. They can show other's dogs for free though. You probably just got mistaken with that rule, no big deal :P
