I'm so pissed right now.
I dropped my phone. My EnV2. Which is, by far, the best phone ever. And I killed the front screen on it. It's white. I'm currently slamming it against random hard objects, trying to get it to to come back on. I really want to cry right now. ;-; I hate it when I drop my phone, but this time I didn't have the case on it. So it's dead.

I called my one friend Zach, who lives up the street, who owned a black EnV2, and he doesn't use it anymore since he got a new phone, so I asked him to find it and give it to me. So, maybe I can hide it for a while until I get my one screen fixed. Sigh.

Has anyone else done this? Did you ever fix it? D:

  • I have an enV touch (which is a horrible phone in my opinion) and my screen would randomly turn white for no reason. I could usually open the phone and close it or just turn it off and on again. I don't think slamming it against other things is going to do anything other than further damaging it.

  • oh Sairah (the last person) her old phone she had to pinch the sides of the screen and hold it a certain way to see the screen LOL she had dropped it so much. xD

  • The cell phone my family swaps around is a flip phone, so it's pretty tough, but I did drop my camera and bust the LCD screen on it. The screen is permanently broken, and the camera has some glitches from time to time. It sucks.

Hope you get your phone working, but be careful slamming it around. That might make it worse.
I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through deviantART.
  • I just called Verizon, and of course, with me not being account holder I couldn't do anything [as soon as I get a freeking job, I will have my own freeking contract. If I get a job.], but the lady told me to take the battery out of it. So I did. Both screens went blank, my external screen a neon white, and my internal screen black. So I had to drop it eighteen more times for it to come back on, as I went into a panic [yes, that says something about today's era, and considering I like to use the front screen to text in class and somehow maintain my 3.8 GPA, I started crying]. I'm extremely upset. We're leaving for Ohio on Tuesday, and I can't get a smartphone [they consider EnV3's smartphones now... morons], so I use this one. And if I can't see the front screen, it pisses me off.

  • Get the Samsung Reality instead. More features than the Env series and a lot more new-looking. It looks fragile but I've dropped it at least 8475935 times and apart from freezing up a bit, it's good as new.

If you're still under your warranty, just go to the Verizon store. They'll either give you advice on how to fix it or feel bad and replace it for you. Your parent doesn't have to be there.
Thing is, my parents don't want to pay the extra 10 dollars a month for what's considered a "smartphone" by Verizon's standards.

I got this guys phone. It wont turn on, even when I charge it. Wtf.

  • I agree with Grapple. I send 14-17 thousand texts a month and as you said, I am still able to hold onto my 3.8 GPA. I text so much that im able to text on a full qwerty keyboard without even looking at my phone. Anyways, my point is, my phone broke and I had to get it replaced. That took up to three weeks. So I was three weeks without a phone. I thought "OMG I'm going to die!" But really, I got my work done on time and turned in and got to spend WAY more time with friends and family. I even learned that there were new buildings in my town that I had never noticed before, because I would always be texting when I was in the car with my family. Not having my phone actually opened my eyes to the world around me and was able to have more fun with friends and family than being absorbed in my phone 24/7. So no, you wont die without your phone, and no its not the end of the world =) You will survive without it and most likely enjoy our time without it.
