I may not be the most sympathetic or forgiving of the lot, but people know me, and I like to think people respect me, even if they don't like me. I spend a lot of time on the forums, and I read nearly every post made. I'm not afraid to step in if I see two players arguing trivially, or commenting in a way that is rude and totally unnecessary. I'm pretty good at knowing where to draw the line between okay and not okay (because as many of you know, I am perfectly capable of crossing that line, and I've learned to hold my tongue and toe the line instead of ignore it). I do a fairly good job of reaching a compromise, whether I'm mediating or trying to get something done myself.<br><br>So... Vote me? Yey.

I feel that I would be a good candidate for the secretary position because I run my own buisness in real life. My managing skills are really good and I have a good eye for seperating constructive suggestions from non constructive ones. I also know most of the ins and outs of VP at this point and I am on regularly.<br><br>So in short vote for Sig!<br><br>_ _ _ _ _<br><br>Shay I was thinking maybe for the art/drawing part of it we could maybe get a few artists together for an art committee. This way artists could work together on projects and it won't soley fall on one person. Artists could possibly switch off on who does projects or each artist can do a piece of the project. I think if we did it this way you may be able to get more work/projects done at a better quality.

I would like to be part of the chairmen to help make sure good ideas are filtered through and to help guide the VAA on its very first year as helping the community. <br><br> I have President and Vice-President experience as I was President in middle school and was Vice-President in High school. I also have been on many student council positions other than that, like Sergent of Arms, Representative, and Reporter. <br><br> I'm able to contribute good ideas or easily add onto them and make sure we can give our best to the community who'll benefit from our events. I also have fair judgment on retrieving both sides of the story before doing anything drastic like cutting off council members who don't do their jobs. I prefer solution over extermination from council. If we can do it, we will. <br><br> If we have good ideas and have the appropriate funds, I will try to see that we can do it. Thanks for the invitation I'll join<br><br><br>Also I could try for secretary, I'm good at taking notes and paying attention =]<br>I'm about to run for either my local FFA secretary or sentinel and I'm on this game at least five days a week and I've been playing ever since the beta version. Back in the days that novices could write on the bark park XD<br>I'm usually nice and such, and yes I'm young but that really means nothing because my maturity level is well above people my age.<br>I know how to be serious and when to have fun.<br>I'm gonna try to be secretary.
I guess I'll try my hand but I'm usually no good at elections.<br><br><br>Treasury:<br><br>I'm a long time active player all the way from beta testing. I've been on VP for about 6yrs and have contributed a lot to this community. I am online almost every day and have never taken a hiatus or "poofed". I've provided about 5 guides in the tips in tricks section of the forums to allow others to learn from them and to share my knowledge. Some other things I have done was host the current Trick-Or-Treat event, donate to the Olympics every year, have a 300mil vpc raffle to share some of the money I had acquired, have random giveaways (like with the unofficial trivia Oriyana would sometimes host), frequently answer player questions, and all around participate in community events. I believe I have a firm standing within the game and would be a good choice.<br><br>Vote for a tarn? =D
I'd like to run for one of the chairman positions, and I'd like to enter into an artist position as well, assuming it's okay for me to do both. If I can't do both, then sign me up for just the artist position. <br><br>It's hard to think of what I should say, since it should be obvious what the chairman position demands, and I believe I have most, if not all of those qualities. When I commit to something, I take it very seriously. There will be no slacking on my part without notification. I also view myself as a fair individual, and I can only hope others feel the same way as well. Communication and problem solving are very important skills to me that I practice daily, and have even taken in depth school courses on them to further improve those skills. I also have a lot of experience both on and offline in being a leader, and severing a community. Now, I can't guarantee you that I won't make mistakes, because I am only human like the rest of you, but I can guarantee that I will always try to recognize and correct those mistakes. I also have accumulated a <span style="font-style:italic">tiny </span>fortune that I don't use for much, so I can assist to some extent in funding the club's activities.

Yes, you can prefer to be a member if you wish. =]<br><br> Members aren't forced to participate in the elections. However, their votes would be crucial so I'd please hope everyone would at least participate in voting. <br><br> As for the members who're running for council positions, if it's possible, please no bribery if anyone is that type. xD I would think that everyone here is honest enough to not do so.<br><br> As for voting members, please vote for who you think would do the best job. After all, if they aren't doing their job, they can be replaced under certain conditions that the association will rule later on. <br><br>Also, the artist area is like an honorary member. It does not have a set maximum number of members that can be artists. They are included to be of higher respect but aren't exactly a part of the council like the graphic's maker. The Graphic's maker has two positions because it would help to put two leading graphics makers as the head of the graphics making team, if they wish to combine forces or work and help each other. They'd be the main people to go to for graphic's needs depending on their specialty. <br><br> We have so many artists where it's hard to try and pick the 'best' one of them all since art is so expansive and different with every type. <br><br> People can still be graphics maker (Though, not the council position!) and an artist. <br> I don't believe you have to run for an artists position or a regular graphic maker position. They are like honorary members, not council members. There are 2 main graphic maker positions, which do require you to run for them though.
