Another Horse?
So for the past week and a half I've been feeding my neighbor's horse. The haven't been around for about two weeks and there hasn't been anybody feeding him. They were trying to short sale their house but recently took the sign down, so I am assuming it was foreclosed. I rang the doorbell to no avail. Everutime I feed in the morning he sticks his nose over my fence and whinnies at me. So I've been giving him feed and he's been rabid about taking it. :roll: I called animal control and they are coming out to investigate today but I am positive nobody has fed that horse in over a week. I told them I would take the horse if they are to take him and they said after a week of holding if they don't come for the gelding he is mine. I know where I live due to the economy people can't give horses away right now the overhead is just too much for people but really leaving him in the backyard to die is sick. Not to mention I got up on the fence and he had no water. No water bucket or automatic so I had to drop one of mine in there and climb the fence with a hose. >< The saddest part is he is a sweetheart and he is crazy about my daughter. I've been calling him Malakai. (I hardly said a word to my neighbors so I haven't the slightest clue of his name.) <br><br>I'll try to get up on the fence again today and take a picture.<br>For now here's a breif description of him:<br>He's a dappled buckskin with black mane and tail.<br>He's pretty short like 14.2. (A midget compared to 17.2 hand Tank XP)<br>For a little guy he is pretty stocky.<br>I haven't seen his teeth so I'm not sure his age exactally but I would guess between two and five judging by his back and personality.<br><br>Probably with some wet saddle pads a good horse for the Rylan. She already thinks she's a rodeo queen when she rides Tank around screaming "YEE HAW!" around our arena. XP
