Ughh this makes me so mad

I went to our local petstore yesterday, to buy some fish and there was this guy who was holding a puppy. So i ask him what breed of dog is he, he replied St Bernard. get this the puppy was only 20 days old had no teeth but he told me that the breeder called him and said that his pup was ready and to come and get it and that it was eating solid food. He bought some formula to feed it, and then he when on to say that some people got there puppies last week wich would make them only 2 weeks, people are so dumb sometimes. My only wish is that little puppy survives. No breeder should be selling puppies that young <br><br><br>I juste had to vent this out

    Unfortunately there are a lot of irresponsible breeders out there.

    yeah even horse breeders...ALMOST had a bad experience with a quarter horse breeder thank goodness I didnt buy the horse

    Hate it when people breed for money...<br>If you're doing it right you're almost not going to get money out of it.<br>Some people are irresponsible buyers too. Ugh. :evil:

    Me to I hate when people breed for money, he bought the puppy for 600$ but now the breeder is selling the pups for 250$

    I hate byb's/puppy mills. That poor puppy and the rest of the litter are going to have so many problems especially with socialisation. They shouldn't be taken from mum until 8 weeks. At 20 days old the breeder should barely have started weaning if they have at all the poor thing shouldn't be on solids. I hope it works out but I doubt it especially with the ones taken at 2 weeks.

    For future reference you might want to look up the laws for your state/area. Some places prohibit selling puppies before a certain age. I know my state does.

    I don't think those rules apply around here, i live pretty much in the middle of no where. There are alo of BYB and as sad at is and as much as i hate it i don't think there nothing that could be done. The lead investigater SPCA officer horse is skin and bones i am going to say more then 500 pounds under wait so that comes to show what it is around here
