In a few weeks, I will be putting my 14 yr. old Blind/Deaf Lhasa Apso down. I met this gorgeous girl 2 years ago at a local animal sanctuary. She was there for 3 years until I was FINALLY able to adopt her and make her a member of my family on April 8th, 2010. Upon adopting her, I knew that she may only have a few weeks or a few months left. But was hoping a year or more. Unfortunately, we werent dealt that hand. This little girl is SO special and was so full of life. Recently, she has been going downhill and very rapidly. I have pictures from the day I brought her home. I have more pictures of her, but do not want to post them, as they're very recent and of her in her condition now. I DO NOT want a lineart. or anything that looks like it. I can easily do this myself. You are drawing a free-hand sketch. Positions can be whatever you want. Add whatever you want on her. She does have a Princess Collar on. The collar is pink with black "Princess" written on it with pink hearts outlined in black. She also has a little cat bell connected to it that is a blusish purple in color. I will be printing this out, and framing it. So I will be very picky on which one is chosen. You can do whatever you want to create it. (ie.) draw it with pencil and color it with colored pencils, digital draw it on the computer with a tablet, etc. It MUST be colored! You can use whatever style you'd like to draw her in; realistic, cartoon, etc. Coloring with pencil, unless a good quality of shading, texture, etc. is done... Will not be accepted. Text can either be written or done via computer. MUST be readable and spelled right. I'll try a drawing of her.. I'm not very good with the long haired breeds. I have a Shih-Tzu.. and I used to have A mean Lhasa Apso... we had to put him down, so I know how you feel, although he bit everbody including me, so it's not the same as having a friendly dog but I still miss him.

I'm so sorry to hear about your puppy. I have the highest level of admiration for people who give animals like that a second chance. She's absolutely beautiful

Yeah, she's my baby and has been since the day I met her. I saw her when I went with a friend to adopt a cat from the shelter. Then I checked Petfinder everyday for the last 2 years. And then this year, on April 8th, I was able to adopt her. I was SO happy to bring her home and ever since that day, she has brightened my life and made it so great and special. Even now, she still likes to go for 2 mile jogs (given I have to carry her back a bit) and loves to run around the yard and prance. She's still a happy go lucky girl. But unfortunately, I dont want to prolong her pain that she's going through and has been for the last month. So it's just time for my baby to go to sleep and not have to feel anymore pain or suffering. It makes me feel more at peace knowing that she wont have to be suffering anymore. But it still will hurt to have her out of my life.

Gaga passed away the morning of 10.26.10. She was sleeping in my Dragon Ball Z blanket and with her buddy Goku. She passed away just minutes before Goku woke me up whining. She passed away just 4 days shy of her vet appointment. She will be missed greatly!

Yep, my Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Lab pup; Dodger was stolen out of my jeep after someone broke my driver side window out when I went into the store. Offering a 1k reward for him... Still waiting
