Kiton (Breedable, Growing Adoptables) (Open)

The Species
Kiton are an imaginary cross between a dragon and a cat. Despite the fact that they have wings, Kitons cannot fly. A bit larger than your average house cat, an adult Kiton (also called Drakkat) will weigh in anywhere from 10-30lbs, which is quite heavy despite their lean forms. They are omnivorous and curious, albeit a bit devious. Wild Kiton have a tendency to be dark, duller colors, to better blend in to their surroundings, however urban and domesticated Kiton can come in any array of colors, with the brighter, more eccentric colors and patterns being favored by most families, especially richer women.

Kiton Eggs
Kiton hatch from eggs somewhat larger than a chicken egg, with the shell matching the newborn Kiton's (also called Drakkit) fur colors. No one is positive of the incubation takes, but all eggs purchased in the shop will hatch within 3-5 days. Incubators can be purchased to speed the hatching, however incubators seem to be dysfunctional as far as weekends go.
<a href="http://i37.tinypic.com/1zcis9f.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Sample Egg

Young Kiton (Drakkits)
Young Kitons, also called Drakkits, spend most of their days sleeping. At this age, you can see their markings, web, frill, and horn colors. They're not very active, and don't have much personality at this stage. It takes 5-9 days for a Drakkit to reach adulthood.
<a href="http://i35.tinypic.com/erlxlt.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Sample Drakkit

Adult Kiton (Drakkats)
Adult Kitons, also called Drakkats, are much more lively than when they were young. Rambunctious, hyperactive, and overall mischievous, it takes a lot of patience to keep a Drakkat, much less more than one. Their wings, while fully grown by now, are not used for flight (as mentioned before, Kiton cannot fly, however, they can glide very short distances) but instead to attract mates. Once Kiton reach adulthood, certain parts of them begin to emit a glowing sort of light- on their wings, frills, horns, spikes, and even their tongue and paw pads. The glow emitting from these sources is always the same color, matching the eyes.
<a href="http://i33.tinypic.com/1z3c96f.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Sample Drakkat
