Fame and Bark Park

So going through suggestions and knowing that it's been a common theme to let novices post on the bark park, and we do have some excellent players who remain novices and that there's been some requests of being able to use fame points for other things, I thought what if fame could be applied to Bark Park posts. For sponsors, it would allow them to somehow highlight their post, whether it be at the top of the page, like with dogs on Puppy Plaza or to actually select a highlight color. They would still be able to post without using fame and it would look as it does now. The biggest change would be allowing novices, with enough fame to spend, to post. They wouldn't be able to post as often as sponsors, but if they are active in the game, and event dogs, they should be able to earn enough to post rather often, depending on the number of events they enter and how they do in those events. A novice who is serious about eventing dogs could earn quite a bit of fame, which brings me to my question about the suggestion (besides if you think it's good or not). If you think this is a good idea, how much would be reasonable to charge? I'm thinking something like 10 fame per post. That's enough that most players should be able to post at least once a day, while removing the ability of most to "fight" through the bark park. Players would need to be in the game a little while, until events run and they get enough fame, before being able to post, meaning if a player does post something against the rules and gets banned, they won't be able to just create a new account and post again. (This was the biggest problem previously) Comments? Improvements to the idea?

I think it's a good idea. I would say somewhere between 10 and 20 fame points. There could also be an option of using 50-60 fame for novices and being able to highlight as well.

I LOVE this idea. I am a novice and I'm always wishing there was some way for some people to post on the barkpark. I think 10 or 15 points per post is very reasonable. Thanks so much for suggesting this!

I like it becaues i just share a sp rescue kennel but cant always post...and i have 481 fame points with nothing to spend them on lol

I like this idea.. that way the novices who ARE posting are at least playing the game too, and we know they aren't only here looking to hook up with someone online.. like VP used to be like. I don't know about the low cost though.. I think it may get over crowded again. I wonder how possible it would be to add 'pages' to the Bark Park so players interested in advertisements could see a lot more of what's being offered, rather than only catching what's recently been posted? And maybe, if inappropriate posts become an issue.. we could have a nifty little report button on each post.

I love this.

Could we perhaps have an add-on? I think they should have 100 in handling or at least 100 in something.

I like this as well, as further evidence that the novice is serious about the game.

I like this idea, it would stop novices from messaging sponsors to get them to post and give the serious playeres more was to advertise their stuff

Love the idea! I think 10 points is fine, because most of the "silly" players just breed and sell pups, not even thinking about events.
