• I did a research paper on the Chupacabras :D Most of the stories online are false, but there might be some evidence that it actually existed.

 • As much as I love and drool over cryptozoology, almost all reports are hoaxes or people overreacting. Probably just just some type of canine(most likely domestic or coyote) with a horrible case of mange again.

Honestly, I wanted to be a cryptozoologist for the longest time when I was younger, but it's not a respected field of study, and you really can't live off it. Cryptomundo is/was a great cryptozoological website/blog/news site, but it's supposedly going to be shut down.

kmcov - Chupacabras is a cryptid beast. I believe the legends/myths/stories stem from parts of North and South America. Chupacabras means goat sucker. As the legends go, farmers were seeing weird reptile like creatures, and finding sheep and goats with puncture marks, and their blood had been completely drained from their bodies.

Thus far, there is no legitimate evidence that points to the chupacabras being real. Almost all claims of a body of a chupacabras have been proven to be canine or some other known creature.

 • Most of the video evidence of them looks like a fox, with mange. Same body type, similar movments, ect.
Other videos look like coyotes, with mange.

No one knows for sure.

 • Maybe it's a demon.

Seeing how it was spotted in Texas, maybe it was a Mexican Hairless. That blue skin with bits of opaque hair. Very possible.

 • I live in Texas, same area as Vampy, and I've seen an animal that looks like this.. Although I wouldn't say that they are real. As stated before.. It could just be a SERIOUS case of mange 0.0

I love you and your amazing Facts Sushi. <3 From what I've seen it does look like a dog with mange, I don't know much about mange, other than it makes the skin look awful and it's a parasite correct? But can it affect the way an animal walks? I'm just curious. Your one of my most knowledgeable pals, so I figure you'll 'prolly know. xD
I actually don't know a lot about mange, but I know there are different types, and they are caused by parasites(mites to be exact). Mange can cause sores, which then tend to get infected, and cause dogs a lot of pain(I've seen this first hand). If the dog had particularly bad sores/infections on it's legs, then it probably would walk differently, because it's painful.
