I think that the Twilight saga is hiding under Mount Vesuvius. But. That's not even all of my books. Some are in the garage, in my night stand, in my book shelf, in my desk, in my closet, at my grandmothers, in -all- the cars, in my steamer trunk, everywhere. Altogether, I have over 500 books x.x That I can FIND.

...This is sad. I do nothing but read. And read. And read.

I love reading too. I think I have roughly 100 or 200 in my room(including text books/dictionaries/etc), and about 300 or so boxed up in the garage. I had more, but I donated a lot of my older books(hand-me-downs, ones bought from yard sales, etc) to the salvation army when we cleaned out the garage.

It's not sad to be a reader. Being able to read, and doing so often, keeps your brain functioning properly. It's like exercise for your brain.

.Cough.Solution to the problem? Box up anything worth reading and send to Buffy =O.Cough.
Hahaha xD I would if I could.. But. I'm broke until my parents start paying me this summer to babysit my brother.

Tiff: I would but I develop an emotional attachment to my books, considering I've read most of those at least twice.

Celia; What kind of books are you into? Like, what genre? Maps of the World is a good one. It's more adult. But good. Older Stephen King books are good. The really old ones. Delores Claiborne was -amazing-. Anne of Green Gables series was good. Uhmm... The Wicked series (Witch and Curse are the first two in the series), the House of Night series is really good, the first Fallen (which has The Fallen and Leviathan as the first two), umm.. Kate Tiernan's "Sweep" was really good. Christopher Pike's "Thirst" books one and two were excellent. They just get confusing. The Warriors series, Touching Spirit Bear, etc. Those are good (:

Sushi: I can't donate my books D; Unless I'm too old for them. Even then, I kept my "Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon" book that was given to me by my first grade teacher. And my Sesame Street veggie soup book that my grandmother gave me... And my Muppets poem book xD

/packrat.

I'M GETTING THE NOOK FOR MY BIRTHDAY!

I understand. I kept a few of my childrens books too; like "The Thingamajig Book of Manners." It was probably my favorite book as a kid, and despite how beat up it is there was no way I'd get rid of it.
Even my mom felt bad that she had to throw away our REALLY(I don't remember if it was from when I was a kid, or when she was a kid) old copy of "Where the Wild Things Are," but we bought a new one 'bout 3 or 4 years ago.

It was the first time I donated books. Most were ones I got as deals(like a whole box for $0.99) that I never got around to reading, or ones I just didn't like. I know I donated quite a few from Steven King. His books do nothing for me. Lots of kids books too.

haha, I have no idea how many I have.. I have around 50 that are just Manga though xD and that doesnt talk up very much of what I have. I know I couldnt fit them all on my bookshelf ;;

I boxed a lot of mine up too.
All good things must come to an end. All endings will begin new good things.
Nickel, I've never been too big on anime type books.

Sushi: Its so rare I donate books D;

>.>
No one would want to see my book closet.
It's like a walk-in book-warbrobe ;D
not to mention i have 3 shelves in my room full of book and a cople dvds,
And another, smaller, walk-in book-wardrobe type thing under the stairs xD with some other junk in it too.

You can never have too many books ^-^
Scarily, I was cleaning out both book closets and found 79 books I have not read yet, or had read part of and never finished.
So I'm working my way through them come this summer xD

Stupid thing is, I can get brand new books for as little as 30p (i think that's like 45cent) so my rate of buying exceeds my rate of reading >_>
i have a constant turnover of books >>

because mom and dad are EVIL and only let me have four shelves of books at any one time. So I have about...100-150 books at one time in my room (i double-shelve them to keep more xD and in the one thing i quadruple shelve them. of course, i'm supposed to keep jeans in that shelf, not books xD) but in order to get more i'd have to get rid of a few to make room lol.
I have 3 shelves on my book shelf packed

I have 20ish books stacked on the side of my room, that Ill never read again. Then we have 3 bins full of books outside (There are some a need to hunt down that I do want to read again)
I'll fight you for them Buffy. I can take you! lol

Um... I don't even want to count all my books. I have five shelves jam packed with books. I also have some sitting in a chest and I don't know how many are in there.

But, I'm curious now so maybe I will cound the ones on the bookshelf. lol

They're everywhere D; My friend Lupe slept over Wednesday night, and she looked at my bookshelf, picked up the book that I had borrowed from her, and then picked up my book Sweep, and then my first Wicked book, and then a Kathy Reichs book... So I'm missing like ten of my books off my bookshelf.
