Weeelll I need slowish music for writing to ;D I dont need any of the mainstream stuff suggested... if you can hear it on the radio, I don't want to hear about it xD I like rock... but so long as its slow/has a nice melody/is musical, it's fine. If you have suggestions for music that has no singing, that'd be amazing <333 but somehow I feel like I'm one of the few people who loves lyricless music xD Sadly, I don't know where to find anything D; Thanks

I hate songs that are popular unless it's country, then it's alright. =] Sophisticated Side Ponytail by Natalie Portman's Shaved Head is fun and interesting lol. Same with I Wanna Be a Dinosaur by Super Happy Storytime Land =] Those two ^ are just funny ones, not really fun-to-listen-to ones lol. I don't know how much you'd like those ones. But I love the song Ping Island/Lightning Strike Rescue by Mark Mothersbaugh -- No lyrics! I also heard you show dogs too? =]

I love music with out lyrics. Anything from Yoko Kanno, particularily anything from the album <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Song_to_fly"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">Song to Fly</a>. It's not rock, but the whole album just amazes me. Some contain no lyrics, but voice as a musical instrument/enhancement, some do have lyrics that tell stories, and others contain no voice nor lyrics. I love listening to this album when I'm working on commission and homework, or when I just want to relax. Other composers I enjoy/recommend: Kenji Kawai Joe Hisaishi/Mamoru Fujisawa Yasunori Mitsuda Pendulum is okay. They are generally techo/electro, but some of their songs definitely contain rock elements. I'd recommend Blood Sugar(rockish IMO) and Fasten Your Seatbelts from them. I also highly recommend the pianist Maksim Mrvica. Exodus and Nostradamus are two of my favorites done by him. Rock with lyrics: As for rock with lyrics I HIGHLY suggest Tarja Turunen, or songs from Nightwish when she was still a member. Her music is symphonic metal/rock. I find the genre absolutely stunning; a touch of rock and opera! Her voice...I'd kill to be able to sing like that. Die Alive and I Walk Alone are two I love from her. I also recommend songs from E Nomine as well. It's crossover(like rock, techo, symphonic, and chant all rolled into one). Very interesting style over all. Every rock fan I've shown this too seems to like it. I highly suggest checking out the song Mitternacht, Schwarze Sonne, Vater Unser. My brother also introduced me to Lordi, winners of the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006. I really like them because their music is something you can sing along to, as opposed to just banging your head. Also has some chanting/symphonic elements. Check out Hard Rock Hallelujah.

Have you tried Explosions in the Sky? I think it's exactly what you're looking for... it's just amazing, that's the only word for it. Normal rock instruments, playing something that couldn't be called rock, it's too beautiful.

Ahh cool, I show in conformation, juniors, and sometimes rally and agility. But I have Shibas and they're not easy to keep with me off a leash unless there's agility equiptment lol

I'm not qualified for Junior handling anymore

They never sent me a new card though xD Tucker works off leash really well around home, I'm not sure how well he'd do with obedience though outside of home. I wanted to do Rally too xD I practiced the turns and all the basic moves and stuff. He's an excellent heeler when he knows he's working.

Haha, aren't they amazing? I didnt really listen to them until I saw them live and was like "Dude...their drummer is amazing" -drools over double bass- But Im a nerd like that xD
