You'll never guess what I'm doing... I'm putting coontails in my hair as we speak. The dye smells awful but I'm excited nontheless. If you don't know what a coontail is: <img src="http://static.becomegorgeous.com/img/articles/how_to_make_your_own_coontails.jpg"; alt="http://static.becomegorgeous.com/img/articles/how_to_make_your_own_coontails.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> Theese. But only on the long parts of my hair. I have the same hair cut, so not on the shortened puffy parts. So excited.

I've done pink coon tails before, it was okay. Depends on your hair color and how much bleach is used. Just be careful what type of bleach you use. Luckily enough, my hair is always in excellent shape and after dying my hair 20+ times it has never fried - but my mom's shop only carries Aveda which is organic products. Anyways, what color are you doing?

I'm going a very lightlightlight blond. It's going to be fabulous, I don't know why but I'm sitting really straight. I think I'm nervous. xDD and yes Holleywood! It could be. xDD

YUS MY DEAR IT IS. My mom was giving me a heart attack saying "WHAT IF IT'S MESS UP!?!" xDD It's looking good so far. Coontails are painful (or at least the way I'm doing them.) Did you use tape?

It won't be messed up, and if it is you can always dye over the blond. ;D Tape?! o_0 I used regular foil. xD

Haha. It's fun to see someone new to the wonders of the hair-dye-world. I've had blue-purple, indigo, dark blue, magenta, pink and purple, white and dark blue, varying shades of brown, blonde, and red. I love the first pic the most, but they are all cool! My school won't allow us to dye our hair "Unnatural" colors =( The last "unnatural" hair color I had was hot pink, but I had to get it taken out when school started back xD

I had to dye it dark because finding a job isn't easy with pink hair. xD

I don't know why, but I've never liked them. Just not my style I guess. I've only ever dyed my hair various shades of natural red, and one time I did it chocolate brown when my fake red hair was going brassy really bad. I've never had it an unnatural color(the schools didn't allow it back then), but when I was your age I had custom black/white/light pink dread falls made. I loved wearing them outside school. I still have them, but haven't worn them since I started dying my hair red. <a href="http://i49.tinypic.com/28h1i52.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i49.tinypic.com/28h1i52.jpg</a> ; If you dye your hair enough you tend to get used to the smell. I do mine every couple of months when my black roots grow in, and I barely notice it now. All I can say is have fun while it lasts~ Unnatural hair colors pose lots of problems for adults.

My hair is super curly too. I flat iron my hair all the time. Even to do curled styles I flat iron first, or else my hair is all over the place.

My hair is super thick, and super wavy. And really really soft (: I'm growing it out really long. I still have my natural hair color. I put highlights in it, and hated them.

Curly hair ftw. I have curly/wavy frizzy hair and either straighten (flat iron) it all the time, or I put mousse in it so it doesn't look so poofy and frizzy.

I've never dyed my hair. I've still got my natural hair color.

I'm happy my mom never let me dye my hair, and I have no intentions to.

I have really curly hair too, but I love it. x3 I had a bright blue chunk in my bangs, but it didn't stay long because I didn't like it. So I changed it to red. I've never had any real desire to dye my hair crazy, but Katelyn and I have been thinking about doing something stupid to it this summer. xD
