<span style="font-size:92">They're little rubber bands that have a special shape and <br>they keep the shape after you take them off your wrist.<br><br>At school (that just ended the 9th, yay!) they were SO popular. <br>Some people had like 20 on each arm and I'm like "Jeez!"<br>Rofl. I only have 4 right now, but my mom might take me and <br>my sister to get some for like $1.00 a pack. I'm excited. LOL. <br>It's fun to collect 'em.<br><br>I have an orange pigeon thingy, a red heart, a red bunny && a yellow penguin.<br><br>ANYWAYS. <br>Does anyone else have any? <br>Are they popular at your school, too?<br>What shape? What color? How many?</span>

  • They are $6 around here.<br>My sister has a bunch of them, she feels up both of her arms with them. lol.<br>They are kind of annoying, because everyone freaks out about them but I have just one - a purple dino. :3
  • Everyone around here has them..well, most people.<br>I just want a horse and wolf one. XD<br>I'll be more than content with just those two.<br>I'd never wear bunches of them, I can just imagine the horrid tan lines you'd get from those. D:

  • The craze hasn't reached here yet, haha. I've yet to see one. I've heard about them, though, from the interwebz!
  • We just bought my sister three packs and she gave me a guitar, trumpet, and ax guitar. xD

  • Nope, hasnt hit my school yet.<br>I know I read an article somewhere about these things getting banned at schools because of how distracting they are. :)<br><br>I saw them at Hot Topic today.<br>I was like, um... okay? LOL :D<br>A purple dino sounds fun though >D

  • Hmm.. I might go sniffing around see if I can find some here.. beat the craze xD<br>They do look pretty awesome!<br>If I do find some I would probably only have 2 or 3 considering I already have wristbands when all are banned at school xD
  • We must not have them around here. I had never heard of them, looked them up, and realized I've never even seen people with them.<br><br>When I was in school the jelly/gel bracelets were popular up until people started to associated them with naughty things, then I guess parents stopped letting kids have them, and some schools got real nervous about letting students wear them. I was big time into the whole candy kid style bead bracelets covering your whole arm in middle school as well. I still think I have lots of them, but it's actually been quite some time since I've even worn a normal bracelet.
I'm done with VP. I'll just be around until I get all my dogs and lines placed in good hands. If you want to contact me, please do so through deviantART.
  • SILLY BANDS ARE A CULT!!<br><br>they started out in elementary schools and now they've worked their way up to high school. everyone is like "I want this one. give me yours...what do you have?" it's stupid. i've refused to allow myself to conform to the childish ways of the people around me. here they are 1 to 7 dollars a pack. huge waste of money...

  • My brothers trade theres with friends in school.<br><br>And when they get doubles of them.<br>They give them to me xD<br>I have like 6 xD
    KENDALLDREAMY.png
  • It's not a cult.<br>It's a trend, just like skinny jeans and various other things. ;3
  • <span style="font-size:92">OMG, I HATE THEM. When high school GUYS start wearing neon girly colored animal shaped rubber bands around their wrists, something has gone terribly wrong. I -refuse- to wear them. I have real bracelets. xD However, in protest, I do wear a round silly band. Is called a rubber band. Go figure, eh? ;p</span>

  • Wow, I would never spend my money on them. Ever. xD<br>I'm not one to follow trends, I only buy/do stuff that I like, not if it's a trend.<br>They look like a huge waste of money. It's okay to have like one or two, but to have them <span style="font-style:italic">all the way up your arm?</span> That's crazy! xD<br><br>I'd rather not spend $1 to $6 on little rubber bands, I like real bracelets. (:<br><br>...how the <span style="font-weight:bold">HECK</span> did they become some sort of fad?! o_o
  • I agree I have alot of them but I only wear maximum of 3 at a time wearing them up your arms is just not right to me D: considering I know someone that wears like 20 on their ankle D;

  • I have honestly never heard of these..... Lol<br><br>That's what I get for living in a little farm-town.

    Back in action?
  • My friend gage showed me these about two hours ago and I was like "OMG! VP POST! Lemme take a picture!"<br><br><br><a href="http://i49.tinypic.com/11gr86t.jpg"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://i49.tinypic.com/11gr86t.jpg</a><br><br>; xD
  • It just hit our school. It's not too bad.<br>I saw them a while back at the infomercial store at the mall xD<br>before I heard ANYBODY knowing anything about them.<br>I thought they were cool, but I didn't get any.
  • Haha my friend had bought some from Hot Topic before the fad hit here that were like little stars and spaceships and astronauts and stuff like that. I had seen some a long time before my friend had even bought them, and I only wanted them because they were little drumsets and guitars, and Im a drummer. But that was the only reason. Now everyone here, kids and teens, have them. Theres even a booth at the mall that sells nothing but silly bands. I heard on the news some of them can cut off your circulation. Id like to have the drum one still, but Ill just wait until the fad passes and get it for like 10 cents lol

  • I have a few. Everyone at my school is freakin obsessed. First the so called "Cool Girls" had them. When they got tired of them the nerds began wearing them. At our church today they gave every kid 3. Like Slipknot said they can cut off your circulation these ones were so tiny you could not feel your hand.
  • They have them in a kiosk at the mall near my house. I'm not a big fan of them. But. I like my charm bracelets better. I have one from Things Remembered, and it has one charm on it [it's brand new...I have to get the charm replaced on Friday], but the charm says "To thine own self be true." And I have a Brighton one that has... 5? charms on it.
