Growing up, my dad always kept an abundance of Sled Dogs around. He was a very enthusiastic musher up here in Alaska, and had taught me everything he knows.
Since his passing, we kept what dogs we could, but tough times called for us to rehome most of what we had. Leaving us with 4 Sledders. A Malamute named Moose, a Siberian Husky named Nakita, an Alaskan Husky named Aurora (mine and my dad's dog), and Teddy another female Alaskan Husky. All have since passed as it's been a bit over 12 yrs. now.
I recently moved out, and have always had a love for mushing due to my "exposure" when I was younger. I had gotten a German Shepherd Hybrid male who was 9 mo. old from one of the local shelters up here last July.
I plan on getting at-least 3-6 "Alaskan Huskies" for a Skijor and Sled Team

Titan:
Right off, he was a very perfect "Sledder" and worked so perfectly for Skijoring. He was rehomed several months later after I had gone out of state for a week due to a funeral. My ex didnt like him, as he didnt like guys and can be quite aggressive with certain males. So, he was rehomed. He has since been through 6 homes, back to 3 shelters and over 5 hrs. away from where I lived. Someone posted him on a site that he was looking for a new home, and his "previous owner" had worked with me for over a month so I was able to get him back. He re-joined our family a few days ago, and I as-well as he, couldnt be any happier. He had been rehomed so much, because he's "overly hyper, aggressive towards men, and didnt listen to anyone because of his [mate] mentality".
He wouldnt do anything for anyone, started submissive peeing and would whine all the time (said his previous owner). I saw him, and he just stared at me for about 5 mins. before I said "Titan!". His ears perked up, and he went frantic in his kennel that the guy had put him in, in the back of his truck.
Titan got out, sat right in-front of my feet, and just stared at me, wagging his tail and panting and whining. I then said "Titan, load em up", and he jumped into the back of my truckbed. The guy said that he wouldnt do anything anyone ever told him to, nor would he get into the back of a truck.
Titan happily home, stays by my side. Watches every move I make. When he eats or drinks, he -has- to keep his eyes on me, otherwise he wont eat at-all. He has to go everywhere with me, and cant stand to be more than 5 ft. away. His personality has completely changed from the day I picked him up. I think he's happy to be home

Might do a double-line. Not sure yet.
She is 3 yrs. old and currently has no name. She is from parents who have run in the Iditarod with Dee Dee Jonrowe (CheetumXFord), and has an excellent lead instinct, and a very powerful will to drive despite her smaller size.
<img src="
