Lumps on Cartoon Dog's Heads...? D:

Have you ever seen that? Lumps On a cartoon dog's head. I've always found them unattractive and very UN-cute. xD<br><br>Examples:<br><img src="http://i44.tinypic.com/2r7ajus.jpg"; alt="http://i44.tinypic.com/2r7ajus.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> I think Pluto has the worst lump I've ever seen. I know other other cartoon dog's I've seen have had this odd attribute. It's very weird and I have no idea what part that 'lump' that is suppose to be in dog anatomy. Is their brains stored in there?<br><br>Does anyone have the slightest idea what that is suppose to be?

    yeah, their eyes take up such a large portion of their heads, they need that extra spot for their brain *nods* Sounds about right.

    Doesn't bother me. It's just a style, and I assume it's the back of the skull.

    Technically, dogs have that bump. Ever felt the back of a retriever's head? My flat-coat's is very prominant when you run your hand over the back of his head. It is just the back of his skull.<br><br>But it looks realllllly creepy the way cartoonists draw it. XD
