Cheap organics?

I'm not even sure if I spelled organic right.

Anyhow. I'm looking for cheap organic food. I know that organic things are really expensive, I look at milk, and at foods, and they're 5+ dollars. My parents are on a health kick, 7 grain whole wheat bread, milk [though it's still 2%], no pop [or as the south says it, "soda" ], we've been going outside a lot, walking, going to the gym, my dad is still trying to get me to run, it's not working out for him, etc etc etc.

ANYHOW. Does anyone know of good, cheap organic foods? ;D

 • Nope, sorry =[ Although if you find any, please let me know! I don't understand why being healthy comes at such a price, and you can pump yourself full of harmful crap for dirt prices -.-

 • I personally think Annie's is the best as far as crackers, cereal, and macaroni/cheese. I do think that some of their products are only 80% organic, but they taste amazing either way. They have other products too, and the website is <a href="http://www.annies.com/"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://www.annies.com/

Another good brand is Cascadian Farms. ( <a href="http://cascadianfarm.com"; target="_blank" class="bb-url">http://cascadianfarm.com; ) They have pretty good food. They have frozen veggies, boxed cereal, granola bars, fruit spreads, and a bunch of other stuff.

 • We call grocery carts carts...or baskets. And we call purses purses or bags, or shoulder bags...Pocketbook sounds like you're carrying a book..in your pocket. Idk it just sounds weird to me xD

 • In all honesty, I read the title as "Cheap organs?" I'm tired.

We call soft drinks soda too. I tried saying "pop" once, but I got some wtf? looks.

It's often like that here too, but if you go in a restaurant they always ask you to clarify which one, or they really will bring you a coke if you meant pepsi.

As for organic food, it's all expensive in stores! If you can find a local farmer or a local market, you could probably find some really good deals. We always used to buy huge crates of strawberries for half the price of stores from a man that grew them himself, and when I was little we had hens for eggs.

I know that there's going to be a whole bunch of farmers markets open here pretty soon, and they have eggs ;D
