  Aw, by the looks of the car, this certainly isn't as bad as you would think it would be, though certainly not good either! I'm just glad he's ok. Best of wishes for a great recovery.

  The damage done to his leg was caused by the pressure of applying the brake. The brake pedal was twisted around his foot also. Which caused his heel to also shatter with the tibula and fibula. The heel was shattered in about 200 pieces. When I talked to the doctor after his heel surgery he told me that bone fragments actually got pushed into other bone fragments. But hopefully he will be able to put a bit of pressure on his right leg in a couple months. We go to see the foot doctor in a couple weeks to get the cast removed and see how the heel is heeling.

  Wow, that is really sad, but at least it wasn't any worse. <br>I'd be so mad, but I guess there is nothing you can do, but get over it and focus on healing. <br> I hope he makes a full recovery.

  O_O Oh my goodness! That's horrible! Car crashes are awful -shudders-. I hope he is ok, that looks pretty ah...I don't think painful would be the right word for that.
