  Wow, that last one's a black lab? I have two and I've tried setting up homeade agilty courses in my yard and training them, but to now avail. I don't want to do it for competition, just for fun, any tips?<br><br>Any btw, your dogs are beuatiful.

  <br><br>Yes the last one's a black lab! I love Labs.. they're the best, real easy to train, great family dogs, and typically have a really good personality. I use to do homemade agility courses.. making it out of lawn chairs ect. & now we're competing at the national level.. So continue what you're doing! the dogs love it . If you need any particular advice I'd be glad to answer :P

  Yes, labs are great. THe biggest problem I have with mine is getting them to go through the obstacles! Should you start by teaching them each obstacle sepratly and then making a course? Mine do worst at jumps. However one of them and jump quite high and long distances, she just doesn't want to jump over things.

  <br><br>lol teach them the obstacle first. and then teach them to do it in a sequence. Jumps aren't too hard to teach you can just have someone hold your dog back then go to the other side of the jump and call them over it and reward them with verbal praise as well as a treat or something . <br><br>Hope that helped if you need anymore help feel free to ask!

  hijacks post<br><br>My one dog, doesnt learn much of anything xD She's nine... I set the bar way to the ground, put myself over it (on leg on one side of the bar, the other on the other) and lead her over with a treat, and she did it. <br><br>Maybe start the bar closer to the ground and try that <br><br><br>runs away<br><br><br>xD

  I love me some border collies. Shorty is gorgeous! Great job at agility. It's something that I think would be cool to do in the future. I've just got to find a club within driving distance of me. I haven't looked in a while, but the closest I have found was a 4 hour drive one way. Grr.... <br><br>Ever since I found the Ruff Mutt Border Collie rescue, I fell in love. Someday -maybe- I'd like to add a rescue border to my pack.

  Thank you ;D Border Collies aren't dogs I swear they're SO different. I've had labs, pointers, spaniels.. but ever since I got one I won't get another breed.. I'd get a mix with BC in it but they're amazing! Where do you live, if you don't mind me asking I could probably find a club for you.

  Oh my bestfriend lives in Fort Wayne. There's a lot there in Indy, you're lucky we have like 3 solid clubs here in ohio, there's definitely some nice clubs there in Indiana. I'll message you sometime today if I have time D; with club names ect.
