Here's how it works:<br><br>Every so often I'm going to post up a clue about a dog breed. The first person to guess the correct breed wins the offered prize!<br><br>Rules:<br>1 - Only ONE guess per person per post. If you have more than one breed in your post you are disqualified even if you're right.<br>2 - Spelling Counts.<br>3 - If there is more than one prize up for grabs than the first TWO or THREE people get them.<br>4 - No rushing me.<br>5 - No complaining.<br>6 - If you win I'll post here but then please message me for your prize - don't clog up this thread.<br>7 - Only post for the clue that is current - please pay attention for if I've closed one!<br><br>Thanks!<br><br><span style="font-weight:bold">1/8 Breed #1:</span><br>Also called the German Quail Dog, I originated in the 1880's in Germany. I have a wavy, thick outer coat and a waterproof undercoat, and I come in the colors "Brown," "Brown/White," and "Black/White." I have a thick, dense coat and lots of hair to insulate my ears and feet. I am used for sled pulling, and as a companion. My glossy coat is smooth and hard, and my form is skinny muscular, and almost cat-like.
