Well, even IF the world ended in 2012, wouldn't something have to be caused to end the world? ;~; I personaly think the mayans just got tired, and ended the calender there, or maybe it was unthinkible for the world to go past 2012 to them. Either way, I think it would be exausting writing decade after decade on a calender. xD Lol. No, I don't believe they got tired...I heard that their leader (I forget his name) left them and they couldn't flourish together as a group or tribe...so when whatever it was came and brought diseases, they simply died right there...And from what I could tell, they predicted the world was going to end when their leader came back because their leader would be mad for some reason and use his great psychic ability to destroy the world in some way. And actually there are a number of ways people have tried to discover the meaning behind the Mayans, that is just the path I followed so you may think something else.
I thought the world ending in 2012 had something to do with crystal skulls. Or at least thats what the tv told me. Something about if we dont find all 13(or however many there are) of them huge explosions are going to wipe us out? I dunno...I wasnt paying much attention xD
