Well my aunt called one day and said her grandaughter(my 7 year old second cousin) was getting a puppy, and asked if I would take her hamsters. So I said sure. Well, I guess my aunt has no idea what a hamster is, because this is what I came home with:

Two male Guinea Pigs...

Anyone have an idea for names? Right now they're still what my cousin named then, Swirls and Buttons. That really needs to change.

Also does anyone know anything about Guinea Pigs? Because I've never had one before.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Now I just have to decide what to call them.

They've gotten a lot more active lately. when I first got them they just sat and stared. Now they actually run around.
I had one a while back. But she was really shy. When I got her out of her cage, she just sat there and stared. I had her for like 2-3 years x_x She made a lot of noise at night and ran back and forth in her cage. Cage needs to be cleaned once a week if not more. I had to find her a new home because I couldn't take care of her and all of my dogs D;

(Oh, and I think that's the cage I had and I had that bell thing O.O)
(and my reply sounded very negative o.O THEY ARE FUN TO HAVE =D)
I've never had guinea pigs before, but I've researched them...From what I can tell many have a nervous nature so if you bring them around kids, be sure to watch them carefully for young child may spook them and end up being bitten...Good luck!
