judgmental people

I am not naming any one person, because I have been judged before, but this triggered it. Examples: (no names) #1 I was playing a rating game in the game section and I got rated low. The person above me had a good one, so I rated high. The next person said I shouldn't rank high just because he gave me a low score. I liked his/her's. I ranked it high. Not because he/she rated mine low! #2 I said something on another website ( this is one with people I know in RL and no one I don't know) and I posted that someone was over-rated. I didn't mean it in a mean way towards the person at all. I meant that everyone thought he was better than he actually is just because he is 'popular'. A bunch of people started commenting and they assumed I meant something else. There are a few other times, but I don't feel like posting them all. and don't post anything if you are going to judge me or assume something about me...>.> I'm sick of it.

Probably not a good idea to give example in a vent post, if it's directed at another player. Either way, just remember: EVERYONE judges people at some point. No ones perfect. Everyone does it. Don't get hung up on it because its just a waste of time.

Wheat's the most comforting person in the world. :P She would never even think about being judgemental. Maybe sometimes without her coffeh she's crankeh. And impatient, but she was just rating you. You chose to post in that game, and you knew someone had the right to rate you low. It'a an oppinion and you need to be able to accept others'. Don't post in that game if you don't want the possibility of getting a lower score. I wouldn't accuse players over something so small. Knowing Wheat she'd prolly rate me as a 3 just cause she luffs meh. ;O But she's entitled to her oppinion, and that is what that thread is all about. Oppinions.

Judging is life. Everyone is guilty of looking at someone and judging them by what they see. That is the way life is, Noone likes it when it happens to them, but to say that you don't do the same thing would be a lie. The most important guy in my life, the very first time i saw him i asked my mother if he was a criminal because of what he was wearing, and what he wore. He is now -very- important to me and i would die for him. But the first time i saw him i judged him. Everyone is going to judge, you just have to take it for what it is. Life goes on, either you get stronger or you let yourself crumble. If you infact break yourself down because of what others think, it if your own fault because noone is better than anyone else.

All I can say is that some things you say on the internet can be easily misunderstood. You could mean one thing and the next persont thinks you're being a jerk. That's why you can't take it seriously. No one knows what tone of voice you're saying it in or if you're using sarcasm. So I wouldn't worry too much about people misunderstanding you on the internet, it's bound to happen a lot.

i don't like judgemental ppl either and i'm not going to say much on the subject besides the fact that the only harm that truly gets to the person judging is that is breaking their soul and will later regret it

*wink* Well it's true... except I guarantee we (key word, we) are all hypocrites of some sort because we all judge people, in large or small ways. I do. I'm probably judging you for judging someone for being judging, and judging myself right now so... whatever. :P

And like I said, the entire rate the person thread is about JUDGEMENT. If you can't handle the worst case scernario, someone giving you a low rating, then just don't play it. It's as simple as that.
