We'll I'v had to get those painful gardasil shots. All I got to say is they kill like a mother. Anyways, I was forced to get them because lucky me had cervical cancer prematurly. The nurse said it out of no where, I was shocked. Like cancer is all I remember hearing. Its in my genes also, but I'm on 'the pills' & other medication hopefully preventing it & what not. Its quite scurry

but as of right now I should be okay. eh lol

I had to get those last year, along with every single other girl in my grade. I'm belonphobic (fear of needles), soo... I wasn't a happy camper. And all the girls would leave normal, and come back white as ghosts, zapped of energy, and cranky. It was like a grade-wide universal PMS. My teacher literally kept boxes of orange juice to give to those who looked the worst when they came back... I always got one. Not only did I fight o NOT get the needle, but after they jabbed it in me, it was like a tranqualizer. I lost all my energy, and felt sick. I always felt bad an hour after drinking the juice (artificial flavours/too much sugar makes me sick), but the immediate effect was good. But ya, I'm just glad I don't have to do it again. I almost fainted everytime. P.S. I always answered, "What happens if I say Yes? Do I still have to get the needle then?" to the question, "Is there any chance you are pregnant?" It delayed my needle a few minutes. XD But then my friend would ruin it, and hold me down in the chair.

I hate needles.

I'm NOT LETTING ANYTHING HAPPEN TO MYY LULU! :< *clings* I had that and omg it hurt really bad. More so than a regular shot.

This was at school, so it was only me (terrified), some friends (calm), and some other kids (terrified). No parents.

I have what you call a *cough* needle phobia... I can't look at a needle without fainting.. So when we go to a doctor for shots, I have to get special treatment..

It used to be where I would literally try to bit the doctors :shock: But that was when I was four..

None of the girls in my school have that shot -yet-. I don't know if it's going to happen but I think the gov. of Canada is still testing it as an experimental drug. Even if they did offer it here my mom wouldn't let me take it, something about more girls dying from the vaccine, not the cancer

I got those, it felt like I was having a muscle cramp, being jabbed in the arm, and my arm completely freezing up. Yuck.

When I was in like 6 I fought when they dried to draw blood for something. It took 4 of the nurses to actually hold me down. They didn't get what they wanted though so it was absolutely worthless. :x I HATE needles. I had to get an MRI for something and the needed one with contrast. Well I never let other people see me crying and I was crying so hard because of the needle. I don't mean to react this way but I do. It's like something else takes over for me when a needle comes in my line of sight.
