Well, now that it's warm and lovely out, the bunnies need more fresh air. Since I have no real skills in woodwork/metalwork/or any skills involving outdoor work at all [xD], I decided to work with only thin wood and net-plactic-stuff. It worked pretty well, [and before you all scold me for using plastic on a rabbit-contraption, let me explain!], and the rabbits can't get out... unless they chew their way out of their little plastic-mesh-playpen. Considering the only time they'll be in there is when I'm watching them or outside, it will be no problem. Neither of them are extremely big chewers, and when they are, they chew wood. Which is fine because they can chew on the wood all they like--it can be replaced, removed, etc.

It's fairly flexible (and I mean in a 'if it gets broken, I can totally fix it' way).

I put it in a corner beside the house so they can a) be watched easily from the giant window in the living room, and b) be in a spot where nothing was really meant to go there anyways xP

They love it! Especially energetic, mini Milo who is always itching to get out of his cage and exploring the world around him xD

I've posted pictures. Brace yourself to look at the most-worked-on rabbit contraption EVER! [As if... but still, brace yourself.]

<img src="

I appreciate it because I am much too short to step over the stupid thing! xD It just slides out from behind the stick--easy as that. And the rabbits can't get out through it, either (unless they're the size of beetles, which they are not).

This is the "rocky corner" as I like to call it. We have a hose-wrap-around thing in the way, so I had to fold the plastic-netting stuff under it and then on the other side, for supreme safety, I piled a bunch of rather medium-sized rocks on the other side.

The netting stuff seemed to be a problem when it came to the ground and the rabbits being able to go underneath it. I found the solution by making sure the netting was too long (therefore it curves into the cage) and added dirt in front of it. Even if the rabbits remove the dirt, they can't get under.

Well, I saw the cracks under the deck as a problem because the rabbits may try and dig beneath it and, without the deck having a sort of net or anything to restrict the animals from getting underneath it, the rabbits would be long gone. After looking underneath the deck, trying to figure out a place to put a piece of wood to block the crack off, I realized that there's a solid cement wall on the other side, deep in the dirt. So, that problem was never really a problem, little did I know. So... all fixed! xD

<img src="

I'm still worried about anything that they can get ahold of... And, if you like the contraption, give cookies and carrots!
