yeah. I really love burning money when I have it, cos it goes to no use otherwise lol, so I figured I'd hold a contest. mmkay, first off, no photomanipulations or anything similiar, please. Breed: Rough Collie Colour: Purple Lace Merle w. Damasked Points 1st) 8mil and two forum signatures by me 2nd) 5mil and one forum signature by me 3rd) 2mil and one forum signature by me have at it :] ending date TBA.

yupp, just remember that the body is (purple) lace merle. so like... lace.. XD and the points (knee to paws, snout) are damasked, though ^^. and photomanipulation is using a photo and altering the colour, etc. I want handdrawn whether digitally or traditionally is up to you, though

-sigh-i got backed up and i lost mi internet privliges for a few days on the computer with the scanner but i finally gots it. <img src="http://i40.tinypic.com/34pnxg0.jpg"; alt="http://i40.tinypic.com/34pnxg0.jpg"; class="bb-image" /> ps. btw, sorry for the hugeness (computer still doesnt want to downsize the scans) and i hope that the 'damasked' looks somewhat right. i couldnt get the example of it decent so i though mi natural ability at whatever design this is looked kind of similar.

So for the body color(demasking aside) would it be white with the purple lace as merle? Or is it purple with purple lace merle? Is the merle itself lace or just the outline?

humm. well, purple would be the base colour with either white or black lace

and I think either or for the question as to whether the merle itself is lace..basically whatever looks good ^^ and for whisperer's question, the damask, I would prefer to be grey of some sort ^^

Oh, okay. So purple base with whatever black or white lace(whichever looks best) being the actual merle. Correct? I've got a rough collie sketch on my computer that's gathering dust so I'll probably enter that. xD

I have a soft spot for Rough Coat Collies, ( my Papa owns one ) so here you go!
